Re: SPECTRE: Bond 24
Some of the song placement in the Connery Bond films was really strange. I think it's in Goldfinger where he first goes into his hotel room and he's sort of casually looking around while the intense "durnd durnd durnd durnd durnd..." music is playing (as if it was a chase or something).
But that opening title sequence in Dr. No compared to Goldfinger or Thunderball, yikes.Last edited by SinisterAlex; 07-26-2015, 02:09 PM.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

My favorites (in chronological order): Thunderball, OHMSS, License to Kill, Goldeneye, Skyfall.
I really like Dr. No, The World is not Enough (minus Denise Richards), Goldfinger, The Living Daylights and Casino Royale.
Funny for me that no Moore movies are on my list. If I had to pick one Moore movie, it would probably be A View to a Kill.MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies

Hm...uh yeah i'm not feeling it either. I think it will come across better with the intro. I do like the arrangement though especially the beginning which harkens back to an earlier era of Bond.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

For me it's the lyrics and Sam Smith's voice. It just doesn't sound all that great.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Daniel Craig has some comments on future Bond movies.
Actors never want to associate themselves with one character in their entire resume. He's already done that now as Bond. I'm certain he's just sick of it for the time being.
Regarding his statements? Pretty candid it seems, yet very honest. I don't blame him for what he says, but I'm surprised he's saying it before Spectre comes out.Last edited by Blzer; 10-08-2015, 10:11 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: SPECTRE: Bond 24
I figured as much. I thought he was "checked out" partly through QoS. Skyfall was a great movie, but I think the actor himself was running his own course too much.

Re: SPECTRE: Bond 24
I think most guys that play Bond, you pretty much associate them with that character and that is it. I will use Connery as an example, I (granted I am young) can't think of many other characters he has played. Maybe a couple of movies tops. I know him as James Bond, nothing else. Same goes with Roger Moore.
I had to retract some of my statements I made (see edit), because I thought more about the fact that he's just coming off the shoot. Eight months in a shoot? That's a school year! And those days don't always have weekends and they don't always last only six hours, though you literally do have to be on your "A game." I just don't think that Craig's persona is the same as Bond's', and that's a grueling shoot for him.
Either way, he's contracted for at least one more I think, so let's let this one play out and have him go out on a bang or whimper when he turns 50 and possibly does one more. He's right, though... movies like this aren't made very often anymore, and his successor better be better than Craig to be accepted.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
