Alamo Drafthouse is holding an anniversary screening of Team America instead of The Interview.

I gotta say that the one "good" thing about this hack was that it revealed a lot of the scumbaggery going on at Sony. As for this movie being shelved because of it all...Well it's not surprising. I don't think they want more skeletons being revealed to the world.

I would think that scumbaggery is not exclusive to Sony.

Oh I know, it's just amazing to see how corrupt, disgusting and ugly Hollywood can be. If anything the Sony hackers lifted the veil and showed the world just how awful it can be.

While I'm sure it's not exclusive to Sony I think some things like execs saying some very disparaging and racist things about some of the actors that have made that studio oodles of cash is probably a little more exclusive to Sony.

I really don't think even that is exclusive to Sony or large corporations in general. People behind closed doors with a veil of security will always surprise you.

Haven't read anything about this other than the general thing that it happened. I do remember seeing the trailer for this movie and initially thinking why you would create something about an existing unstable dictator in an unstable, harsh Communist country in a lampoon fashion.

Plenty of movies before and during WWII lampooned Hitler.

Catching the North Korean government... not likely.

                              An even better question..

                              Why not?

In my mind, it wasn't pulled for fear of attack, it was pulled for fear of what may be revealed...
