Kept waiting for him to be overwhelmed, he'd have made a nice set piece for the end, slowly getting back up and standing at the shore.

Anyone think that Sansa might turn into the shows version of Lady Stone Heart in a way? Not saying who Stone Heart is as to not to spoil. Like all the crap she been through just breaks her to where she becomes emotionless?

That was insane. I hope there's still some money left in the budget after that thing of beauty.

I LOL'd at the Lord of Bones finally returning to the screen only to last about two minutes.

All I want from the remainder of this season is closure on the Winterfell plot. It was very satisfying having Sansa find out that Bran & Rickon are alive.

So we know Valyrian steel can turn a white walker to dust. How many swords remain. Where is Ned's great sword these days? DO others exist?

Did the Giant make it? He headed toward deep water. I can see him guarding the entrance to the wall. Give him a giant putter ant let him play putt putt as the zombies come through.

Speaking of Zombies/Skeletons. There are White walkers and zombies correct? It looked like all the dead Wildlings became Walkers so what's with the skeletons and zombies? What are those.

The only Valyrian swords that remain in the show are the ones Tywin had forged when he melted down Ned's sword. Brienne has 1, after Jaime gave it to her. Joffrey had the other which I assume is in Tommen's possession now. In the books Sam's father, Randall Tarly, also has a sword made of Valyrian steel.

The zombies/skeletons are wights, which are the same as the reanimated corpses that the White Walkers resurrected from the dead. The ones that are skeletons have probably just been around long enough that their skin has decomposed. The only actual White Walkers are the ones who look like their skin is made from ice. Having the blue eyes just means you are in their possession, not necessarily a white walker.

Ned's sword was melted down by Tywin and reforged as two swords, who then gave them to Joffrey and Jaime. Joffrey's is currently unaccounted for (edit: sandman42 is probably correct in saying that Tommen has it), while Jaime gave his to Brienne. I do not know how many other VS swords are in existence, but it's my understanding that they are extremely rare.

I believe the skeletons are just zombies that have been dead for a longer period of time.

So the White Walkers can resurrect people right after they die or what? Or any dead person can be turned into a "zombie"?

Been mentioned a few times about ICE, being Oath Keeper and Widows Wail. According to the books, every great family in westeros (minus the Lannisters) has/had a Valrynsteel sword. So if you take the great families you could extrapolate that there is one in the Vale, the Reach, The Stormlands (Stannis has it now), Pyke and Dorne (altough who knows what the Dornish do as many of their warriors use spears and poison).

If what is written in the books is true then Ice is now two swords so you have that, there are very few smiths who can work it, so who know if there is a way to craft more going forward, or how much or little of it is needed in a weapon, if you took all the swords from all the families and made arms that had a drop of the molten valaryn steel would those new weapons have the same power.

Edit: The other sword to come from Ice was Oath Keeper not longclaw.

Are the blue eyed people the White Walkers which are different than the hordes of zombies? This has me a bit confused. The slain Wildlings at the end of the show reanimated with blue eyes. Are they different than the zombie horde that attacked them.

The guy that Snow disintegrated was a White Walker. How many of them re there and can hey make more or is there a finite amount?

There are two classes. Wights and white walkers. Wights are what the guy reanimated slain dead who are easier to "kill" and don't have the ice swords that can obliterate steel.

White Walkers are the "master race". I dont know how they are created/exist but they are the ones that are the cause for concern.

So all those wildlings that were brought back to life are wights.

So White Walkers can make any dead person from anytime a Wight? If so, they need to kill all White Walkers then, right? Because if not, those guys can just make anyone they kill or people who are dead (cemeteries?) into Wights, or is there rules to this ****? Basically got to kill the source?
