But to the quote by Rob, bringing back Jon Snow would be a complete joke imo. And it would be completely uncharacteristic of this work.
I don't know about that. You think about it with the red witch there I think it's bound to happen. I also think his destiny is related to the tegarians. It wouldn't surprise me if Dany and him hook up or somehow 1 of the 3 dragons recognizes he is tegarian and helps him in some way.

Lol imagine Dany, Tyrion and Snow on the same team.

I can see revived Jon happening. However, it would be something pulled right out of a Disney fairytale. I dont want to see that in GoT. Not when we're this deep into this. Jon should stay dead, like all the "heros" before him. Start building up a new hero to destroy in the future. Rinse and repeat.

Ugh. This show is so brutal. So good but damn.

What's even worse is I have to wait another year.

Looking at casting notes for next season it looks like we'll be getting Euron Greyjoy. Interested to see how they do that storyline and if they include Victarion also, or just combine them into 1 character for the show.

Someone spoiled what happened to Jon snow on YouTube of all places last year so I kind of knew it was gonna happen eventually, but not the way it was done. Ouch. Hopefully you guys are right... I wonder if grmm has to rewrite to force them to revive him due to the show. That would suck for him

Anyway, this season was very mixed for me. Sand snakes and stannis' storylines were very uninteresting... And the whole religious angle seemed to come out of nowhere.

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 5 (aka A Feast for Crows + A Dance with Dragons)

If the red witch doesn't resurrect Jon Snow, the White Walkers will. I have a really hard time believing that this is the end of his character. If it is, it was a pretty unspectacular ending for a spectacular character.

If that scene was supposed to be like Julius Ceasar, they failed miserably in the delivery. There wasn't enough passion in the Et tu Brute moment when the young lad delivered the final blow.

Stannis's death was underwhelming as was the great battle which was building all season. Given how much time they spent on the gladiator scene and harpies dueling people with daggers, having the major northern battle come down to a little computer generated animation was a big "meh". Didn't even get to see Stannis vs. a Bolton on the field of battle.

Much of this season has felt pretty much like a waste. The only thing that has really mattered looking back is Tyrion uniting with Dany and now the Dwarf potentially ruling the east will the help of Varys. He's also bent on upsetting the apple cart in Wersteros and I could see him pulling it off, especially if Bronn gets real tight with Jamie and Cersei. Bronn will do what's best for Bronn and he's always done well for himself siding with the dwarf.

But speaking of Cersei, you know she's going to unleash that Frankenweenie Mountain Monster onto the High Sparrow, so she'll be back on top before too long.

The White Walkers are on the move, but we knew winter was coming. King's landing is in disarray, but looks like Cersei will soon be back on top again with little having changed. The North is in shambles. Winterfell will be ruled by the Bolton's for the forseeable future until the White Walkers move through.

I think they showed a scene in season 2 where the iron throne was covered in snow. That may be where the show is heading in the end, outright destruction of Westeros, everyone dies.

I think the latter is more likely to happen than the red witch resurrecting him but who knows. I agree with the fact that "resurrection" in the books doesn't come off as cheesy but in the shows it will definitely have a "Disney" feel to it. I think he'll essentially become what...

If Stannis and Jon are both completely gone then it will be enormously disappointing. I found Stannis to be more entertaining in the show than the books, probably because he wasn't a POV character.

Theres a precendent in the show of ressurections. You saw one of them last night with Cersei. Also, in a previous season a more competent Red Preist, Thoros, was ressurecting Beric Dondarrion multiple times. So I fully expect Mel to ressurect Jon. In the show AND book.

Though of all the red preists in the show and books, shes really the worst of them.

Yeah, the option is certainly there for the show runners but I don't know if they'll take it. Beric/Thoros are still available for "use" since...

If Jo Snow is indeed dead, then I'll have to change my prediction to Bran Warging the dragons and defeating the Whitewalkers to save humanity.

The other thing is that cave where Bran went to where the Child of the forest helped them escape to apparently Wights can't enter there because whatever animates them doesn't work there. So if they could lure the white walkers and wights to that area assuming the wights stop functioning they could have a fairly even fight with a few white walkers.

That White Walker that was taunting Jon Snow was the old Commander of the Nights Watch. I could see him wanting to animate Jon Snow and have him on his side. But I'm not sure if they can just turn Snow into a Wight who has really no free will or can they somehow turn him into something more.

Should be an interesting season 6 unless they decide to make it all about some sand snakes and other characters that just eat up precious episode time.
