That's my girl. I'm very, very happy about this. She showed in Merlin that she can be everything from innocent ingenue to cold-hearted villainess.

She's only 5 years older than Melissa, so I would expect her to be a peer/friend/rival.

So I guess unsurprisingly given the news of Calista's reduced role on the show, but the synopsis of Supergirl's new season is out and reveals that Kara will be leaving her job as Cat Grant's assistant in season 2. Now does that mean she leaves Cat's company completely or will she be doing something else entirely?

I'm wondering if Calista Flockhart is just trying to do the right thing by "easing" out of the show? This new dynamic (whether she's totally in or out of CatCo) might indicate her appearances are very few.

I've just watched the first four episodes and I'm actually enjoying the show quite a bit. It doesn't handle the action quite as well as Flash IMO, but I expect there to be some corniness for heroes this powerful on TV. There have been some cool moments so far, for sure.

the show is good so far. Kara, Jimmy, and their crew are likable

Yeah, the interaction between Kara and Cat is great.

Nothing is near the Flash though; by far, my most favorite show on TV.

I would imagine not often. There were 20 episodes last season, so you figure if they do 20 this season he's probably in the first episode, possibly the first two. I'd expect to not see him again until the final 1-3 episodes of the season after that.
