If I'm not mistaken, I went to see the 80's Supergirl movie with my grandparents. I'm pretty sure I liked it, as I liked anything that was related to Superman.

No, but I knew her celebrity almost immediately and her famous relationship/marriage to Harrison Ford. Is it any good?

She made three appearances on Smallville? I don't remember her.

EDIT: OK, now I remember. Pretty hot for a fortyish (at the time).

I think the music was dubbed in. The actual pilot wasn't bad, and there was a conversation part way through that was pretty eyebrow raising. Hunt around for it.

Jaybee nah, I didn't really like Ally McBeal. I think I watched a couple episodes and bailed on it though for a while there it was a bit of a cultural phenomenon especially with that dancing baby.

Supergirl the movie, actually isn't that bad. It really should have been rewritten, though. It had potential. The writing staff should been replaced, until the best one stepped in. I'm sure, the writer of the Dark Knight trilogy could step in and try to reboot the Supergirl cinematic franchise. I'm confident that the makers of Man of Steel could work together, again. What do you think of my idea? I am a bigger fan of Supergirl than I am of Superman.

Also, this TV series version, has a lot of potential. I'm a huge fan of Supergirl. I just feel, it would be a mistake to try to make it like Smallville. I just feel that 10 seasons was too short, though. This series deserves to be better than Smallville. Smallville is the best we've seen of a DC Comics adaptation, so far. My only hope is it doesn't get the Bionic Woman (NBC) treatment. Let's hope this production has learned from the mistakes of that series.

You need to see the pilot...it really wasn't that bad. And like I said, this wasn't the original song, but he Lynda Carter WW campy version.

It's Supergirl that I can't imagine making it.

I agree. I think, the ones that designed this costume for this series wanted her look to be a little different than Superman's trademark look. Obviously coping Supergirl's suit after Superman was a bad idea, when they did the Supergirl movie. I guess the makers of this series learned from the mistakes of that movie.

Word of advice for this show's theme music: don't make it sound too much like the theme music from Superman: The Movie. I will be disappointed, if they decide to just reuse Remy Zero's song "Save Me' from Smallvile.
