Hopefully Ms. Benoist goes blonde for the role, interesting about Jimmy Olsen though, Wasn't he a female in the latest Superman movie? It seems that's the character that no one minds changing up for the sake of it.

Nope, that girl was just named JENNY. She's not given a last name in the movie or the credits.

Oh ok, I had read before the release that it was supposed to be Jimmy Olsen turned into Jenny Olsen. I guess WB got cold feet after hearing some of the backlash.

I'm all for new takes on things if it makes sense, certainly does given the TV aspect of trying to do new things to keep viewers guessing.

This Jimmy Olsen doesn't look like Superman's Pal at all. Maybe Superman's Bro.

We talked about this on the Flash thread. The news has been out for over a week.

We examined the possibility of any crossover with Arrow/Flash since CBS owns 50% of CW. Time-Warner owns the other half.

And where does Superman factor in? It would be fascinating if they treated Supes like Norm's wife on Cheers or Maris on Frasier.

Gotham has done well while featuring some truly corn-ball villains.

But they also have true villains in there. Like Szasz, the 2 crime families, and tonight's villain, which I will post in spoilers

Right, but they've also had a villain who tied helium balloons to people to kill them. I would take the Lumberjack over that.

Gotham's dark nature balances out the corniness. I was worried about Flash bc it would, of course, be lighter and pretty corny, but they're doing a good job. I'm not convinced Supergirl can do the same but we'll see.

How does Wonder Woman not make it and this does?

The Lumberjack? Doesn't seem that difficult.....
