Frank Miller lived in Hell Kitchen back in the day. But also guys, Hells kitchen is nothing like it was. Brooklyn still looks "tougher" so that's why there shot here. That was my only problem with this series. They used places that I've gone to or go to on a regular basis. Josies is Turkey's Nest. Cheap and dirty that's why I love it. 6 dollar margarita. You can't go wrong! Lol

I didn't realize you were in NYC. Not sure why. Seems you hang out with the cool kids.

Born and raised here. Born in Queens and rasied in Brooklyn. I hangout in Bushwick (where I'm from), Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Crown Heights (where I currently live), Astoria and obviously Manhattan. But the first 3 places were heavily shot there.

When you say cool kids. Are we talking about gentrification?

No no haha. Just meant that you go out to bars that were good enough for a film shoot.

          Just kidding.

Is Five Points pretty bad? That's where Doyle Lonnegan was from.

Most of NYC isn't anything close to what it used to be 20 years ago. Even the worst of the worst now has high end restaurants and design schools little hippie kids attend.

Daredevil was interesting to me because I kept getting those 70s feel from it based on the look and crime of the streets but then they had cell phones. It's like an alternate universe NYC.

                  YESSSSSSS!

I smell a backdoor pilot for Frank???

                  http://comicbook.com/2015/06/08/jon-...evil-season-2/

For his next comic book television show, actor Jon Bernthal will find himself doling out some punishment.

That’s because Marvel Studios and Netflix have cast Bernthal as The Punisher for Daredevil’s second season. Bernthal, who famously played Shane on AMC’s The Walking Dead, will bring Frank Castle to life when Netflix’s hit Marvel series returns in 2016. When last viewers last saw Bernthal in The Walking Dead, he took a bullet from Carl Grimes after turning into a Walker. Looks like its time for some hard-earned payback for Bernthal. With announcement, Marvel also unveiled Daredevil's Season 2 Logo.

Crazy mother****ers in Hell's Kitchen when it was Hell's Kitchen.
Basically....if you didn't want to get stomped or stabbed....just keep walking through the Kitchen....quickly.
                        Now....you can drink Margaritas there.
Did someone admit they drink margaritas?

Phenomenal casting, I love Bernthal and I think he's gonna be an awesome punisher.

lol, at first I didn't recognize him because I don't watch Walking Dead (I know...) and he didn't have the facial hair he had in Wolf of Wall Street so thought that it was the actor playing Crossbones in Winter Solder / Civil War .

Man, if they throw in Elektra and/or Bullseye as well, I'm gonna lose my **** and not be able to handle the wait for Season 2.
