Re: Marvel's Daredevil (Netflix Original Series)

I was collecting books in the 70's, so went back and bought the 60's issue of Daredevil and Subby. Don't remember what I paid for it....probably a few bucks. Still have it framed today!

Also, Daredevil and Spidey always seemed like a natural team-up.

I was wondering about that. Since Spidey will be introduced in the MCU soon, how would that turn out with DD and him in the same city?

They'll make references I'm sure. There's tons of references to the MCU in Daredevil.

Would have been a nice little easteregg to see Stark Tower in the distance in some of those NYC skyline shots.

Duh! I was wondering the same the other day and then he gets them and I completely forget why that means something to the character. Didn't even register.

One thing I want to point out that I really like about this series is how it ties up loose ends.

A bit more than halfway through it so I don't know what might not be explained at the end, but a lot of things that usually end up forcing questions has been explained.

I can't think of examples right now but I know at least twice I've noticed them explain why they did or didnt do something as a way to almost tell the audience, we know that was a plot hole but don't worry, we got it covered.

As far as drama season ones go, that was about as much as you could ask for from a show. There's a few things I think they can improve upon (like
                    Spoiler
) but most of it is nitpick stuff.

                    I will say the cinematography is A M A Z I N G.

Obviously the Raid scene is getting a lot of love on the internet, which is well deserved since I think it was actually executed better than the Hallway Fight scene in Oldboy, but the Taxi shot was what REALLY got me going. That was so good I had to go back and watch it three times.

It has a way to go if it wants to rival Arrow (which I think may actually be the most compelling show on TV right now) but it can definitely hold it's own.

And guys... I hate watching tv shows. Ever since Lost. I never put time intoa tv show again. I just don't want writers to be messing with my head and time.
