    Marvel's Spider-Man

I wasn't certain where to post this, so I figured a new thread could work. If not, mods feel free to move it.

Apparently Marvel has named their 6 finalists for the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Let me preface by saying Marvel has finally done something that makes me mad, and they're going REAL young.

The 6 of them are going to the final test in Atlanta, where they're filming Civil War, which naturally will be Spider-Man's first MCU appearance.

Not sure how I feel about this to be honest.....

This could be real good or be an epic disaster. My Spidey sense (pun intended) is tingling towards the latter.

Thought Guardians was going to be a disaster, never been so wrong before in my life and I'm all in with anything Marvel now.

        Kinda rooting for Ender though.

I know Spider-Man isn't exactly buff, but this young looking just doesn't really seem to fit with what they got going on if they are trying to add him to the Avengers.

Yeah but the incessant jokes would be gold.

It looks to me they are going the Ultimate Spiderman route.

Why do I have a feeling that there be some form of story where Tony wants him in the Avengers but Captain America will think he to young angle. Either way as long as the wise cracks keep coming I'm all for it.

He could still be a teenager and fit that model without going this young.

I think it's awesome that they are going real young. The banter with Peter vs the rest of the Avengers is gonna be gold!

The only kid I know though is the Ender Games guy and I thought he did great along side Harrison Ford.

You'll also want to think that this will probably be the Spidey for the next decade too, so you want him to be young.

                          Garbage.

I have no interest in seeing a young Spider-Man, but I guess it's the only one they haven't done next to old man Spidey.

1 or 6 is, by far, what I picture in my mind rather than any of the others.

And having seen Ender, 1 would be the one I've picked.
