My take from that is people are still satisfied with Windows 7. Win 7 will continue to hold strong.

Re: Windows 10
You can do the pre download, prep thing but its not a must that you take windows 10.
I honestly didn't want to bother with it because i was cool with Windows 8 myself, but its been just fine for me.
Only thing not working is NBA 2k14 pc, which i've yet to look into but nothing else is giving me a problem at all.Attached FilesComment

Re: Windows 10
I'm completely committed to 7. If I ever end up going 10 it will be once its fully patched and fixed, even if I have to pay for it. I don't mind paying but I'm not subjecting myself to a free beta tester.Comment

Re: Windows 10
Yes, and here's how they'll do it: "M$ will no longer support Windows 7 as of Dec. 31st, 2015. We will no longer provide security updates and fixes for those computers running Windows 7 operating system. Have a nice day."Comment

Right click exe in steam and check integrity of files and steam will fix it.Comment

Re: Windows 10
There are no announced plans for more Windows versions (other than that they're not coming), hence the commercials of kids 'growing up' with Windows 10. Maybe major service packs will eventually adjust the title but 10 and it's stream of updates are what MS is referring to as their Windows as a service.
The first update is already to fast ring insiders.

Re: Windows 10
Last year, but eventually they're going to kill support because it'll be their way to make you upgrade. Apple does this all the timeComment
