The original DALLAS: The cliche answer is the revelation that Bobby's death was all a dream but in reality that was an interesting season (though it felt way too much like DYNASTY for everyone) and the season after was one of the stronger seasons. No, the thing that killed the momentum of the show was when some of the leads starting leaving and Larry Hagman/Len Katzman started turning it into a comedy show. The writing of JR was putrid but could've been redeemed based on rumors I heard. (They weren't sure if the show was coming back the next season but there were rumors that if it did JR would finish up on top and they'd call it a wrap) Either way, the dumbing down and jokey nature of the last 3 or so seasons was wretched for longtime fans to watch.Comment

Justified - I never really cared for Ava. Found her annoying through most of the show.

Parks and Rec -
I have seen every episode of this series, many of them more than once. I never thought Aziz Ansari was that funny. Most of the time he annoyed me. It's not the character, I think the character is great. The snake juice/club ownership/entertainment720, all that stuff was fine, it wasn't the story or angles, it was just his acting. I just don't think he's very good, honestly. The rest of the cast is remarkable, though. I like Jean-Ralphio more than Tom.
Breaking Bad -
I don't know if this was intended or not, but Skyler White was, in my humble opinion, never ever ever a likable character throughout the series run. If that was the shows intent, then that's one thing, but the fact that Walter never uses "getting away from my B-word ball and chain" as a motive for his illegal activities, in fact often times referencing quite the opposite, led me to believe that she was intended to be a somewhat sympathetic victim. She was caustic, cold, frigid, and just all around "meh" in all aspects (to me, just my opinion). I feel like the show would have been better off with her being a warm, salt of the earth, girl scout type who slowly becomes somewhat absorbed by her husbands madness/fall from grace. I guess, in general, I found very little of a redeeming aspect to her character.Last edited by The JareBear; 06-14-2015, 04:17 AM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

I think the statute of limitations on that series is over.Comment

Re: Something About One Of Your Favorite TV Shows That You Didn't Like
When I used to watch Scrubs all the time, I always struggled to accept Dr. Cox's character. I understand John C. McGinley is a very respected actor and to some, he made that show, but I found his role to be over-acted to the point of being corny. I understand his role was not to be quirky like Turk & J.D. but I felt it was overkill and disruptive, by and large.
In the American version of The Office, I had a real problem with Andy's sudden maturation as they attempted to shoehorn him in as "Michael Scott 2" in later seasons. He went from a yodeling Ivy League bro-dude to lovable boss overnight. I'm sure people here could go on & on about issues they had with later season episodes, but that one was near the top for me.Comment
