Re: Suits Season 5 (June 24th)
Great cast, but the writing has to find it's way after too much reliance on the "Mike's a fraud" plots wore extra thin...Comment

Re: Suits Season 5 (June 24th)
I might be tapping out soon.
A senior partner is "going after" (not even sure what this means? Is he trying to knock his name off the wall? Lol) Harvey by.... changing the compensation structure? That's what we're going with here?

Re: Suits Season 5 (June 24th)
Your tapping out because of that? ^^^^^^^^^Suits office warfare has always been over the top. It's not The Good Wife. (excellent legal show by the way) dsallupinyaarea, I just think you haven't really liked this show that much for a long time, and I respect that.
The Donna-Harvey thing is working really well.
I did not like the "prenup" angle where Mike touts his high character to Robert Zane by showing him the class action case he's working on. Apparently oblivious to Mike, Rachel, and Jessica is the fact that he's a fake lawyer who use to take the LSAT for other students in exchange for money. This wasn't mentioned at all? Mike wouldn't have just touched upon that fact to Rachel, and just signed the thing? Not only did Jessica not even kindly skim the subject, she told Rachel to do away with it. In repayment Mike works with Mr Zane behind her back.
Very pleased to hear that they already renewed Suits for a sixth season. Pleased and a little shocked.Comment

Re: Suits Season 5 (June 24th)
Love the characters, but the show is still having a difficult time creating or maintaining a solid storyline...
The Harvey / Donna / Lewis thing is pushing the plausibility envelope, as it's all a little bit over the top and the new guy taking a run at Harvey is just Daniel Hardman all over again...
The only thing keeping me engaged is the fact that I'd watch Donna's character read the phone book for a hour...

Donna's nice, but she's not that nice, particularly if you're not appreciating what's currently going on with Harvey-Donna.Comment

Re: Suits Season 5 (June 24th)
The whole multi tiered, multifaceted nature of the Harvey / Donna relationship was bound to implode eventually...
No matter how sexy / cool the Donna character is, she's still got a tiny bit o' the crazy...she's an aspiring actress after all...
Harvey just misplayed the whole series of events that led to the blowup and the end result plays fairly realistically to me...
To paraphrase William Congreve:
"Hell hath no fury like a secretary / confidant / actress scorned"...

Yeah, Donna is a little bit nuts ("Because I'm Donna"), in a good way.
Being redundant but I'm still cringing over Mike showing Robert Zane what a great guy he is.Comment

Great episode. Yeah, the Harvey panic attacks were back, but now I don't think that's a bad thing.
Mikes shows off his photographic memory in style.
