 Re: Narcos

That would be a problem. I never "watch" like that. I prefer the subtitles. It makes it more authentic. I like the "inter-country" collaborations, like Lilyhammer and Episodes.

Good show. I wasn't sure about Escobar's fate by season's end. I wonder how much longer they will go beyond season 2?Comment

Maybe highlight an American druglord like the Godmother, Griselda Blanco. They can keep going after Escobar, so many stories. That would be a problem. I never "watch" like that. Re: Narcos

 Finished the season.
I don't know Pablo'slife story but how much realistically can they stretch this out for an entire second season?

It's been a common thing for these Netflix shows to haveincreidble first seasons then fall off sharply.

 Some questions:
 Spoiler
Did Pena set up Murphy with the pics? Didn't quite follow that. Nor did I understand why he'd do it if he did.

Was the extravagance of Pablo's prison just embellishment by the writers or was it decked out like that in real life?

What ever happened to the girl (M-19s) who they changed her identity?

Not sure about the pics. Have not finished.

I'm sure the castle prison was realistic. It was extravagant in real life. Dude really built himself a castle to imprison himself.

She went into witness protection no? If so, no one should be able to say what happened to her.

I think Escobar ends after the second season but you still have the takedown of the Cali Cartel out there too.Comment

Was I the only one that thought the CIA guy was responsible?

Found it interesting that he walked by just as Murphy was challenging Pena on it. Thought that was the subtle hint that the CIA was trying to ruin the DEA's victory.

But Pena was so nonchalant about it.

Your theory seems right but Pena's response threw me off. It's possible that Pena turns heel in Season 2.

 I honestly don't know.

 Re: Narcos

I can see that. I just always have this thought that television tries to steer us toward suspecting someone with scenes like that.
