*UPDATE* Stephen Amell says his comments on how flashpoint will affect Arrow were taken out of context. Says flashpoint will definitely not affect Arrow in a major way. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/dc_tv/...othing-a143162

As the article stated there is a chance that he may have said too much and is now backtracking.

Yeah I agree I can't see how it won't affect it. If you're connected to the Flash than there has to some type of change. If not than what's the point of having them in the same universe if you're just going to ignore it.

Given the things that the Showrunners in Arrow have done, it makes complete sense to me that Flashpoint wouldn't affect Arrow in a major way. They couldn't care less about logical consistency in a shared universe. They're going to tell the story that they want to tell regardless of what other macro events might be happening in another show. The shared universe allows for them to make references to other popular characters in that universe, have some guest stars from those shows, and of course the once a year ratings boosting crossover.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Normally I'd agree, but Arrow and Flash are strongly connected, irrespective of how many times they're onscreen together.
