Re: Fargo (Season 2)
Could be the UFO was roaming but this specific landing was at a hotel in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, well over 300 miles from a "general" Marshall County, Minnesota location.Comment

And if they would have left it as just lights that would have been fine, this was a saucer hovering damn near roof height of a 2 story motel. It's a damn sight different than some suspiciously damaged patrol car.
I swear, the more I see people trying to justify this UFO, the more I hate it.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
Just making the point that this whole show is "based on a true story" which is obviously part of the joke, and since there were actual people claiming UFO sightings back in those days pretty frequently it makes sense that the story we are being told could include something ridiculous like that.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
Hanzee at this point reminds me of the guy from "No Country For Old Men"
At least the guy in that movie had a purpose....he was following the money.
But what's Hanzee's purpose for killing the Blumquists at this point? Even the narrator of the book posed that question and his reasons didn't make sense. Pretty much anyone that crosses Hanzee's path dies
Awesome camera shot by the way of when the fat old cop hit the wall from the shotgun blast. Showed him go right into the wall from like two anglesComment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
That was good.
I wonder if they'll allow Ed and Peggy to live?
Hanzee is Category 5 psychopath.

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
I didn't mind it. At the end of the day, Fargo is a dark comedy. I honestly think this was a case of them trying to tell the audience: "Ok... Don't take us TOO seriously"And if they would have left it as just lights that would have been fine, this was a saucer hovering damn near roof height of a 2 story motel. It's a damn sight different than some suspiciously damaged patrol car.

Like the fish flying through the sky last year. That was another WTF moment.
Putting this moment at what has essentially been the climax of the show thus far was a risk; I'm sure they knew going into it that some would hate it.
But I'm just along for the ride. Fargo, seasons 1 and 2, have some of the most enjoyable TV I've ever seen. Really upper echelon stuff.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

"Just Lights" would have been left on the editing table. Like GopherGuy said, "Ok... Don't take us TOO seriously"And if they would have left it as just lights that would have been fine, this was a saucer hovering damn near roof height of a 2 story motel. It's a damn sight different than some suspiciously damaged patrol car.

Unless the UFO has some significance on the series finale, which is unlikely.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
A few of those extraterrestrial references got by me, but the article was thought provoking, much like the last few minutes of the finale.A great read in the leadup to tonight's finale. Generic spoilers for all previous episodes apply.
