Like I said, this show leaves no "loose ends", so next week (it's likely) I'm right or wrong...

    Fun to postulate, tho!

Just making the point that this whole show is "based on a true story" which is obviously part of the joke, and since there were actual people claiming UFO sightings back in those days pretty frequently it makes sense that the story we are being told could include something ridiculous like that.

Hanzee at this point reminds me of the guy from "No Country For Old Men"

At least the guy in that movie had a purpose....he was following the money.

But what's Hanzee's purpose for killing the Blumquists at this point? Even the narrator of the book posed that question and his reasons didn't make sense. Pretty much anyone that crosses Hanzee's path dies

Awesome camera shot by the way of when the fat old cop hit the wall from the shotgun blast. Showed him go right into the wall from like two angles

              That was good.

I wonder if they'll allow Ed and Peggy to live?

I didn't mind it. At the end of the day, Fargo is a dark comedy. I honestly think this was a case of them trying to tell the audience: "Ok... Don't take us TOO seriously"

Like the fish flying through the sky last year. That was another WTF moment.

Putting this moment at what has essentially been the climax of the show thus far was a risk; I'm sure they knew going into it that some would hate it.

But I'm just along for the ride. Fargo, seasons 1 and 2, have some of the most enjoyable TV I've ever seen. Really upper echelon stuff.

"Just Lights" would have been left on the editing table. Like GopherGuy said, "Ok... Don't take us TOO seriously"

Unless the UFO has some significance on the series finale, which is unlikely.

A great read in the leadup to tonight's finale. Generic spoilers for all previous episodes apply.

A few of those extraterrestrial references got by me, but the article was thought provoking, much like the last few minutes of the finale.

                          Strange ending.

Kirsten Dunst was awesome in this season, btw. One of the best acting jobs of the season, I think.

Well that answers every question but was a pretty boring way to do it for the most part. Very anticlimactic ending to a really great season.

                              S2 finale spoilers.

Fans were pleasantly surprised last week when Season 1 star Martin Freeman popped by Season 2 of FX's Fargo to narrate the penultimate episode, "The Castle." Although he wasn't reprising his role as Lester Nygaard (which would have been impossible,…
