Re: Fargo (Season 2)
I personally don't believe that a _____ belongs on this show. Kind of nonsense that ruins a perfect season. Episode was awesome regardless.
On the other hand ______'s from outer space have been hinted before and Fargo is black comedy as much as anything.
So I guess it's just up to personal preference if you liked it or not. There's really no inbetween. You either did or you didn'tComment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
Here's a great read (spoilered because the link itself spoils last night's episode).

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
After reading that EW article, I find myself more annoyed with the situation. It just seems like a total non-sequitur in terms of the story. I know they led up to it in episodes prior but still.
I was moreso enamored with the gun battle overall than the pointless supernatural crap and all this did was take away from all of that.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
Think of it this way, the whole story is basically told on anecdotal stories, and back in the 70's/80's UFO sightings were pretty rampant. So because the story is being told that way, doesn't mean it all went down exactly that way.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
I'm thinking that Hanzee turns into Malvo...
He "wants a new life and a business haircut" and he and Solverson are pretty much the only survivors of the gun battle...
He and Lou encounter one another at Lou's diner in Fargo One, and well...there ya go!
Who else is left to choose from?

From an age standpoint it would more likely be the butcher. 28 years (1978-2006) elapsed from season 1 to season 2, so you have to go with the younger guy, although Billy Bob's features line up more with Hanzee.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
Well, in Season One Malvo and Lou square off in the diner and both are acutely aware that the other was at "The Massacre in Sioux Falls"...
It sure ain't Ed / Peggy or Ted Danson's character...
Who's left?
Thornton (IRL) is also 1/4 Choctaw on his mother's side of the family...
Maybe not...but this production doesn't leave "loose ends"...Comment

Didn't Malvo explicitly deny being at Sioux Falls?Comment
