Re: Fargo (Season 2)
Great great great great show, but still too early for me to decide if it's better than season 1, haven't even thought about that yet really. I love how this show just slowly builds and builds with a consistent pace.
I thought the confrontation scene between Solverson and the Gerhardt's was excellent. Loved how Solverson didn't back down at all.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
I was a big fan of Burn Notice, so it's cool to see that Jeffrey Donovan landed a substantial role in a quality production...
I have to admit tho, I didn't figure out it was even him until Episode Two...
A "My Bad" / "Good Acting + Character Development" moment, indeed!

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
3 episodes in and I'm going to go and predict that just about every major character dies this season except Solverson.
Danson, Milligan, kitchen brothers, all gerhardt men except the handicapped kid, Jesse plemons, Indian guy, solverson's wife (she wasn't in season 1 but he was and the daughter was so either the cancer got to her by then or she ends up a casualty as part of this season's story)
Could survive: Jean smart (curious to see where the story goes with her, but there's a ruthless side to her that we've seen so anything can happen), Kirsten dunst (wouldn't be surprised if she walked away completely free), handicapped gerhardt kid survives too most likely, but who knows this show could throw us a curve ball with his character
Not sure: dodd's daughter that lures typewriter guy to his death, hairstylist woman that knows Kirsten dunst stole the toilet paper. She probably gets bumped off for having her suspicions at some point, but that's way too easy to guess
I love this showLast edited by GaryT531; 11-01-2015, 02:51 AM.Comment

SPOILER BELOW
It's Fargo, they'll be a lot of casualties, and most of the bad guys will probably end up in a box rather then prison. I doubtSpoilerDansonSpoilerpetrified lookComment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
Finally caught up due to being away from my DVR for the first three episodes.
Business is heating up, boy.
This season is not as funny as last year's though.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
Brad Garret's breakfast conversation with the "Mike Milligan" character about "soft water and Agree shampoo" was def my kind of funny...
Anyway:
In the first Fargo Series, the scene with Carradine and Thornton in the diner was a long, nuanced conversation where they both figured out that they knew each other from "that massacre 1979" or whatever...
I wonder if / when we'll actually see the younger version of Thronton's character in the prequel?
Or, if we already have?

Yeah..Milligan is a cool character. Who was the female he shot outside the hospital?Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 2)
After four episodes I have decided that yes, this is already better than season 1. Season 1 had more humor overall with Thornton and Freeman. This season is more intense and I think Jeffrey Donovan is hilarious, "so what now, Wild Bill?" And everything Milligan says is pretty much funnyComment
