I'm sure this opener is going to take the sour taste I had in the last finale. They usually do an extraordinary episode for a kicker start. It's the middle and ending that seems a little stiff.

I'm expecting death....lots and lots of death. A nice domino effect because of that stupid kid asking for his mommy in the middle of a horde of walkers.

Damn, that was perfection. Other than teasing Glenn's death again, that is one of the best episodes they've done in a long *** time. Really enjoyed it. They stayed close to the comics for sure. The Sam, Jessie, Ron dying, Carl losing his eye was done oh so perfectly. Rick seeing red is always fun. And that hellacious killing montage was spectacular.

Props to Nicotero directing, his episodes are always badass.

Well done TWD, well done.

Not that any of the actors other than Alexandria Breckenridge are notable actors. Just clearing room for more characters to come in. Not like you don't know what's coming next. Plus you've read the comics, you know that the Anderson's go out this way.

Crazy that the only adults (that I can remember anyway) shown to kill children in this show are mothers who've lost their children.
