They've strayed from the comics since Day 1. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, this means Abraham is in uncharted territory. Just like Carol has been in uncharted territory for several seasons now. For the most part though, they are sticking with the main jist of this story line.

I don't mind the direction that the show has gone in regards to the comic. Kirkman has always said that the show is his re-write of what he thinks he should've done in the comics. He's also mentioned that he killed off characters in the comics that he later regretted because he was going for shock deaths at points in the past, obviously that's why we still have Carol and Abe on the show.

As for the last remaining episodes, holy crap they're going to pack a lot in. I really hope the finale isn't a let down though.

I have a feeling that we will get a POV shot of Lucille in action and it'll fade to black, therefore we get summer hype of who got the bat.

That would be almost as bad as the midseason finale was. The final shot of the season should be a shot of Negan and Lucille standing over whoever's brains are on the pavement.

Besides the glimpses of Negan in the leaked trailer, I also noticed something else intriguing. It looks like Steven Ogg has been cast as a Savior! You can clearly see him (and hear him) in the beginning of the trailer, facing off against Rick.

For anyone that doesn't know who I am talking about, Steven Ogg was the actor who played Trevor Phillips in Grand Theft Auto V! He also played a small part as a loud mouthed criminal in Better Call Saul. I have been wanting to see this guy in more mainstream stuff ever since I played GTA V. I think he has some serious acting chops and hopefully he gets a bit of a bigger role in Walking Dead, he could make for a really good psychotic secondary antagonist along with Dwight.
