As LeBron would say...
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure. -
Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
The episode really got on my nerves. What happened to the kid calling for his mom at the end of the mid-season finale? That was the whole hook for this episode because you expected the plan to crumble then and there. Did that just not happen? And Carl gets shot in the face and has no reaction but to say "Dad"?
Sucks that Jessie had to die.
I'll keep watching though. For all that I hated, that was a pretty entertaining episode.Last edited by Jr.; 02-17-2016, 01:05 AM.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
I think I'd rather take a conversation about spoilers and when and how they should be used, than hear about how unrealistic a zombie show is being made to be.
But that's just me.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Somewhat surprising. Still huge ratings but has it already hit its peak in the past?
The midseason premiere of season six, a great episode on all counts by critics and fans alike, aired in its Sunday night time slot to 13.7 million total viewers. It earned a 6.8 rating in adults age 18-49 and 13.7, which is a 15% drop in the demo compared to the season five midseason premiere and a 12% drop overall.
Though it didn't have the NFL to compete with, The Walking Dead was still facing the obstacle of Valentine's Day distractions such as special episodes of The Bachelor and The Tonight Show and the NBA All-Star Game.

For TV Shows, spoilers until the episode has aired fully. It's been 3 days, everything about Sunday's episode is fair game.Comment

But the episode was fun, and a lot happened early, so it faded to the back of my mind.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Can some of us enjoy the series without other people budding in?
If some think it's "unrealistic" then well this is not the show for you.
Do not come with the "I've been watching since whatever season..... "I have to see what happens next cause I've been it in for so long"
That angle has been worn off alreadyLast edited by cranes74us; 02-18-2016, 06:39 AM.Comment

Use the ignore feature. That's your best bet to avoid reading opinions you don't like on this discussion board.
But to ask people to stifle their observations for your own sake is outrageously selfish.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
I love this thread actually. I do not "watch" the show (Zombies freak me out, and hate gore of any kind) but I am a reader of the comics. I also get my daily dose of recap from a co-worker who is very detailed with his summary each week.
Just wanted to say "carry on" and I can't wait to read more input throughout the thread.Comment

I thought the don't 'bud in' comment was pretty hilarious. It's so ludicrous that it makes you laugh.Comment
