Re: Game of Thrones: Season 6

Yes I'm conflicted on her too, she is witty and smart, and normally peaceful, but is she vengeful like Xerses? I don't know. I think she could be, and seeing her brother broken had to of pissed her off.

The High Sparrow has a grand scheme in mind, he's after power or vengeance, I can't tell which. He knew the Tyrel's and Lanista's wanted him gone, then he aligned himself with the king to block them from an inevitable attack.

He's a shrewd old bastard, and he's one step ahead of everyone else at this moment.

        Game of Thrones: Season 6

I think Margaery's line of "oh.. you've talked to the Sparrow?" when she sees Tommen is important. She seemed genuinely shocked like she had been putting on a show and was ready to open up, only to realize the Sparrow is influencing him..

I don't know, I could be looking into it too much, but it doesn't seem like Margaery would do an about-face since the last time we saw her.

        However...
She did want to get herself and Loras out at any cost, and she hates Cersei. Maybe joining the faith to take down the Lannisters is a power move by Olenna and the Tyrells.

        I know nothing

Did that freak Jerku, or whatever that 'noone' is just order that ugly haircut patsy girl to take out Arya. Can't not wait for her to feel the needle, because for someone who is a 'noone', sure holds a lot of jealousy and hypocrisy which the freak ironically allows to happen.

There were some notable scenes while Bran was bring-watching Game of Thrones S1-S5 + the prequel we've gotten glimpses of on WesterosNOW; gonna try to find screencaps of those.

Benjen! Coldhands (maybe)! Since he's been working with the 3ER and knows quite a lot about Bran's role in the wars to come, I wonder if he ultimately knows if that will be a good role or a tragic one. Bran's mark still makes him the ultimate candidate to finally allow the Night King to bring down The Wall -- assuming the magic on the Wall is the same as the tree magic.

Tommen, meanwhile, is truly his mother's son. Look at me making power plays that'll ultimately bite me in the ***! Thank god that frees Jaime up; he's been the only likeable guy in King's Landing and he might even have Bronn with him to the Riverlands! I agree with a lot of you guys on Margaery -- she must've been making some kind of play until Tommen revealed his talks with the High Sparrow to her.

Big ups to my boy Sam for deciding not to take his father's **** and then taking his gawdamn property. Got Gilly all cleaned up and smelling nice too! I wish we got Tywin, Randyll Tarley, Sam & Tyrion having dinner together. That'll be amazing to watch.

Mercy, mercy, mercy. Too much Stark in her veins to ever become no-one. Time to stick the pointy end at the Waif.

Daenerys showing her huge dick was cool and all, but it's pretty damn convenient that she needs 1,000 ships while Euron just said last episode to have 1,000 ships built. Question is, will Theon, Yara & their ships go to Daenerys or are they headed elsewhere?

I'd like to think we will see the whole Ares'/Jamiee/Edd throne room scene played out in full. Hate to think they paid the young Eddard Stark actor for one scene.....

Maybe I have more faith in Margaery than the rest of you, but I'm pretty certain she's either got a scheme, or is buying herself more time to create one. She realizes Tommen is compromised, being the young, impressionable softy that he is, and is angling for a more subtle way to turn the tables on the faith militant.

The question I have is regarding Benjen. Awesome seeing him around, but he's got to be something other than human at this point, right?

Benjen kind of explained that he got "killed" by White Walkers and the Children found him before he fully transformed and stopped the magic, right? He spent some time hanging with the Three Eyed Raven and is basically half human and half walker.

I agree with your thoughts on Margaery, I think she's got to be up to something. Once Tommen hops back into bed with her he'll be doing whatever she wants. That whole section of last season was hilarious. (That was last season, right?)

Right, he said the children found him and were able to stop him from turning before the white walker "magic" fully took hold. But he said the way they stopped it was the same way they made the white walkers, a dragonglass blade in the chest, which led me to believe he's not exactly alive either. I guess he is at least part white walker.

I'm sure Martin goes into it further in the books, but I wish the show watchers got a little more background on the Children and not only how they made the White Walkers, but their magic in general. The wall is magical, the weirwood was magical, all this magic and we really have no idea what's going on. Maybe that's the point.

I'm assuming that you're right, he's not really human in any other aspect other than appearance. Unless their magic reversed the effects of death (we've seen this before in different context), then it makes sense that he's just a non-evil, magic stripped White Walker. My only problem with this is that he talks and has his memories of who Bran is and is seemingly aware of himself as Benjen. I'm sure it will get explained eventually.

Think Margaery is just being Margaery, she did what she had to to get out of the hole and back into a place of influence. Wouldn't be surprised if she's rarely alone w/ him though and conflicts with his new guard. Now that she's gained some ground she'll probably be involved in trying to get the place of religion within the monarchy diminished again.

Thing things will refocus on Cersei's trial soon though.
