The Lannisters don't stand a chance of holding King's Landing and there's no way the Vale or anyone in the North will ally with them. I just don't see much Fire and Blood in the battle for the Iron Throne.
Just speaking to this point. The Martells and the Tyrells can call their banners and between them bring 101 houses into the fold. Given that the Tyrells are probably on their last legs the next great house in the Reach would probably be the Tarly's. And remember Dorne was always loyal to the Targaryn's through Ellia's marriage and Dany is of some blood to the them. They backed the Mad King in Roberts Rebellion as did the Tarly's.

All of this goes back to my previous post about Cersi not knowing what she doesn't know.

One thing that has been driving me nuts is Little Finger. He claims that everything he has done is to get the Iron Throne with Sansa by his side. Why on earth would he have ever given her to Ramsay if he wanted anything to do with her? There was only about a 10% chance she would ever make it out of there alive and 100% chance she would be major damaged goods.

I know the books are different, but the show writing on that aspect of Little Finger's plan makes no sense.

I don't think Littlefinger realized just how much of a monster Ramsay was.

I think it's plausible Littlefinger didn't know at the time but came to learn after the fact given that Ramsey "came to power" by expelling the Iron Born and torturing Theon while the might of the North was in the Riverlands. When they got back it was only the Boltons who came back and Roose was the new Warden. Sure he kept those stories tucked away.

I don't think Littlefinger knew just how bad Ramsey was. He was a just legitimized bastard. I'm sure he wasn't talked about much before and it's not like anyone went around bragging about how much he likes to torture people. His greatest asset as that he could play mental games with people, not sword fighting. There really was nothing special about Ramsey for his name to be spread far and wide.

                  Exactly!
He knew it would eventually lead to a war that he would end up being the hero of.

Man what a finale everyone hit all the talking points already so i don't have much of anything to add. (DAMMIT NOT MARGAERY ) she played the long con but didn't account for Cersei's madness/ruthlessness at least not until it was too late.

Anyway, its great seeing all the players being set into their final places. At least for the Iron Throne anyway.

Also, Bran will ruin it all. He's been Marked by the Night King, and he's going to bring that mark past the wall. King just stroll on through like he owns the place then to make more IceZombie troops. Because Bran ruins everything.

Does make me wonder if Dany's vision of a frozen and broken Iron Throne will become reality.

The Tyrells and Martells have been long-time enemies, so it goes to show how big of a bitch Cersei is -- and the Lannisters by way of Tywin -- to get these historically opposed Houses together. On the topic of Littlefinger, I just don't see him getting into any alliance with the Lannisters. Helping the Starks reclaim the North puts him in Cersei's kill list, especially since he promised to deliver the North back into Lannister hands -- which we all know is a ruse.

I'm all for Dany hitting Casterly Rock. I want to see that place.

I'm not disagreeing with anyone regarding Littlefinger and Sansa but that does seem like a pretty bold move.

He gives the girl he's hoping to marry to a guy he knows is a psychopathic bloodlusted madman, knowing that there will be a war he will be the hero of and she will return to him unharmed?

                        I dunno.

                        Edit:

Either way I loved seeing him pouting in the corner at the end. I know, he will cook up a new scheme, but I think that mfer is a dead man walking. Can't wait for that slimeball to get ganked

Littlefinger is always a step ahead.

                          You can't trust him.

Sometimes his intentions aren't of the classic variety.

He's always scheming. Always plotting. He's not done.

But I expect he will be killed.

Littlefinger didn't know Ramsay was a psycho. As much as we've seen him be the guy who knows everything about everything, the show keeps leading us to "Littlefinger had no idea who Ramsay really was."

Sansa seems to have his number -- watch that scene by the Godswood -- but it remains to be seen if she'll continue to keep up or eventually outmaneuver him. Either way, they've hammered the fact that Sansa clearly doesn't trust Littlefinger; it'd be poor if they suddenly have her trusting him in some way only for it to backfire next season.

                              Oh I totally disagree.
He knew exactly what it would lead to if he gave Sansa to the Bolton's. And he knew he could get his weird nephew to use his knights to save the day once the day came for John and the Boltons to have their battle.
Not sure why you would have any doubts that Littlefinger would know this.
