Just like with ex-girlfriends and jobs, I have a policy of not going back. TV shows are kinda the same but this series seems like it’s drawing me back after last night’s episode.

Probably the realest line in last night episode:
Rebecca Ingram: You're going to let them arrest you?
Eric Carter: Look, I'm a black man standing on the corner of Third and Decatur. Trust me, it won't be that hard.

Just watched last night's episode and very much enjoyed it.

Acting is still a bit raw and there are parts of the storyline that are a bit odd but if it's anything like the past seasons of 24 it all has a purpose.

I enjoyed it. Of course I miss Jack, but forgot how I missed the concept of the show. Slightly annoyed that

there is already a mole. I feel as if she had the means to get the Director's access then she should have been able to delete all the logs also.

That's what I was thinking too. Planting some seeds that seem odd now will probably be important later.

I just finally watched the first few episodes. I just am not feeling it. The couple of episodes just seemed really stupid and contrived. Feels more like I am watching a live stream of somebody playing a bad video game. Needless to say I will not be watching anymore.

At first I was a little bummed with how easily he got out of the hostage situation at the jail but I understand now and they certainly made up for that being a bit anti climatic.

Wasn't crazy about the kid just getting up and leaving the room either but yes, very very good finish

I thought it was another good episode but didn't come without it flaws. Hope some didn't give up on this too early.

I thought they got back to more of the original theme of defying authority a bit.

One questions that's been bothering me though:

Does anyone else think the voice intro at the beginning doesn't sound like Eric? It could point to him not making it through the season. I've tried to match it but it just doesn't sound like him to me.

It's just nice to see John Cassar returned to direct. I think that's a big reason for the consistent feel from the past.
