I'm still watching but I feel that the writing in this show has been subpar to say the least. I think the cast can act but they aren't being given much to work with.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Same way I feel about it. Not sure who did the writing but it's mehhh.
I know you have to suspend your brain from reality, but come on, cars coming into CTU without being checked during a terrorist attack and while detaining the leader there?
Well that was quite a wild finish. Not sure I quite understand how Jadalla and Nasiri don't know each other, and a couple other things are dumb too, like if Rebecca's/Carter's men killed Bin Khalid, shouldn't they know 100% whether he was dead or not? But eh.
I hate getting mad at fiction stories for being too unrealistic but this is pretty borderline at this point.
I feel like the storyline was drawn out for a much longer season and they were then told they had to fit it in with half the episodes.
Every new wrinkle just comes and goes much quicker than we ever saw it happen in the past. I mean with two episodes left does it even matter what happens between Eric and Nicole? Why are we wasting time on that.
If on the off chance this get's renewed will it even matter if they are together next season? It just seems like a lot of this season has been forced and since it's actually a decent storyline I don't think that was the initial thought behind it.
So is this intended to be 24 episodes total and a second half airing in the fall or whenever? Or is this just the first season?
I like the show. It's fun and intense at times, but you guys are right in saying it's a little unrealistic and confusing at times. I do hope it gets renewed.
Gee, people who are new to 24 sure probably don't like Tony.
This episode was kind of poor on timing. First John arranges for a change of clothes for Eric in about four minutes while he is driving, then it takes Eric five or so minutes to go from his car to the house that is 50 feet away, and same with Tony & crew closing in on the house being threatened by one man with a handgun and taking about ten minutes until... cliffhanger.
Speaking of time, if I'm counting right, there is only one more episode? We just started. Seriously. What's with all of the subplots if there is only one more hour?
