Know anybody who got caught downloading movies illegally?

I was talking to a friend who has downloaded hundreds of movies and never got caught and he was encouraging me to do it. I told him I was afraid to start doing it because they say if you get caught then you can get fined over $100k and even end up in prison. Lol but I don't think I have ever met a person that actually went to prison for that. I don't know how you would explain that on a job application if you went to jail for something like that. I don't like stealing. I almost feel guilty when I download music because the artists don't make as much as they used to. But it seems that almost no one buys music or movies anymore at the store.

Someone that used to post here got caught by their ISP for downloading tv shows. so they keep records on you and will pull you on it.

Don't do it.. and stop listening to people who tell you to do illegal things

by the way talking about illegal downloads are forbidden by the TOS

      Piracy/ROMs/Warez
Operation Sports has a very strict policy against piracy, ROMs, warez, modding/chipping, and the illegal use of copyrighted material. Linking or giving information about any site that distributes illegal software, ROMs, media, mods/chips, or emulators, seeking help to circumvent any copyright laws, admitting to possessing and/or distributing illegal copyrighted material, or encouraging software or media piracy is grounds for ban depending on the offense. This goes for all copyrighted material, including but not limited to games, movies, music, and videos.
