You know **** is ****ed when Elizabeth says things are bad.

Also, nice red herring with the episode title.

Was never a fan of the Philip-Sandra drama they brought up in the S3 finale. He's already trying to balance Elizabeth, dealing with Paige, Martha, that other teenage girl Kimberly, and let's toss Sandra in on top of of it all too?

I get why they do it, but I hate how Martha just sort of disappears for entire episodes at a time, if not consecutive shows.

I'm ready for Pastor Tim to go away though.

Yeah, the title threw me off.

Yeah, they're just doing that to show what a jerk Stan can be.

Did anyone else find the Stan scene with Phillip's kid awkward?

I liked that scene. Both Stan and Henry are desperate for something or someone to care about and their budding friendship, while odd of course, is representative of where they both are. Stan lost everything he had and Henry has no real actual father figure.

            Yes.

I know they're worried about Paige, but they've completely dismissed Henry the past season or so.

Also, Philip looked old this past episode.

Awkwardness aside, Stan did more than threaten Phillip, and now he's hanging out and cooking boxed macaroni for the son. Stan The Man crosses lines at work and at home.

Stan the Man has to wind up dead eventually, right? He's been on a destructive path ever since the show started.

Pretty valuable character. They just might make his life more miserable rather then off him.

He's done a great job of alienating everybody around him and is pushing off for an island by himself.

Beeman is untouchable until either a) they introduce and build up a replacement character, or b) the series reaches its conclusion. The tension of Philip and Elizabeth doing what they do while living across the street from and befriending an FBI agent is, at the moment, the driving conflict on the show.

Totally agree except for something I saw in a preview of things to happen "this season":

For me the driving tension has been the internal tension of the family combined with Philip's internal struggle with reconciling his hate for American, his loyalty to a omniscient country, and his enjoyment of raising his children in the comfort and opportunity of America.

I think Martha and her residence is more of a threat to Philip right now than living across the street from Stan, but that proximity is like living next to a coiled, sleeping snake.
