That looks crazy, and glad to see Mads Mikkelsen from Hannibal..like that guy. All these trailers is giving me a Geek mode over load.

Yeah Mads is a really talented actor.

I really like the look of this movie. I really am looking forward to it. I have this weird fear it's going to be a good movie that bombs at the box office. Hope it does well

Way better than the first trailer they released -- that felt really generic and "ehh." Looking forward to the trippiness! I just hope the bad guy doesn't follow Marvel formula of a) sucking and b) probably dying in the first movie.

Yeah, all trailers these days are following a clear pattern of trailer 1: principle photography largely complete and some FX done, trailer 2: a lot of FX done, trailer 3+ FX done, full on marketing time.

A nice trailer 2 now that a lot of FX are done.

Yeah, I kind of feel that way too. If it can make somewhere around Ant-Man money domestically, then that will be okay.

Just saw the movie. Here are some spoiler-free impressions:

                  - It's quite formulaic, so don't expect anything great story-wise

                  - The visuals are really nice and trippy. Definite blu-ray must-buy. I'd drop acid and watch this because of the visuals.

                  - Mads Mikkelsen is wasted.

                  - While I get the whole fiasco around the Ancient One, I thought Tilda Swinton fit the role perfectly. She really did feel wise and...ancient.

                  - Benedict Cumberbatch is a great addition to the MCU.

Thanks for the impressions. From what I have been hearing it sounds like a "solid-decent overall enjoyable" type movie, which is cool with me.

Sad to hear that about Mads though. Mads is a beast. Gotta let that guy run with the ball.

Not Mads' fault that Marvel keeps churning out villains with paper-thin material. They could've cast anybody in Mads' role and the film wouldn't be affected one bit.

The PG-13 rating could be what's helping contribute to the villians looking/acting paper thin. These guys typically want to inflict horror, but you ain't gonna get too many human entrails unless you go R.

But they're so uninteresting and disposable. An R rating isn't going to change that.

Let's not pretend that the rating is what prevents Marvel from writing better villains. Joker in The Dark Knight was PG-13 and that was amazing. Zod was pretty good in Man of Steel. Loki has been good in the MCU. Marvel has good villains, but I cannot understand why they haven't given us a memorable villain outside of Loki with all the movies they've released.

Could be that unlike a comic book, they don't have long term plans for them in the grand scheme of things.... dunno. Over time, Red Skull could have been a gem of a villian but that tied their own hands in rushing C.A. to the frozen ocean so he could wake up in time for Avengers 1. Many of these Marvel villians also just downright look funny and maybe their transitioning them to the screen is problematic too. I think Thanos looks downright goofy. Ronan was okay but looked too much like Data from Star Trek TNG to me.

Let's keep in mind that when the Batman series started out, I believe villians were getting knocked off left and right too.
