    Re: 2016-2017 TV Season

I've seen the majority of the trailers for all the new fall shows and the ones I'm looking forward to the most are:

    Designated Survivor
    Conviction
    Notorious
    This Is Us

I watched the Atlanta premiere episodes this morning and thought it was pretty good. Admittedly I am a Gambino/Glover fan, but I will keep watching for sure.

        Re: 2016-2017 TV Season

In my neverending quest to find a lasting, actually-good sitcom, I'm gonna give these a shot:

        Kevin Can Wait
        The Good Place
        Speechless
        American Housewife
        Man With A Plan
        The Great Indoors

Also gonna watch Designated Survivor because I'll try anything with Kiefer.

Just watched Atlanta on FX. Cracked me the **** up. I'll keep watching.

Good debut episode for Atlanta. Had some funny moments in there.

          "Excuse me, sir"

          "**** off"

          "I know, right"

          LOL.

When they were in the car and dude was telling them the story about Flo Rida, that scene is my whole life at work. I don't want to laugh at any of the corny **** these dudes say, I wish I could just give them that look lmao

              "Bite this sandwich."

              "....nah, I'm good man."

Some of the scenes were hilarious. I loved the one with the old man explaining why he got in jail, and then the calling out of that other dude for his ex-"girlfriend." LOLOL.

I think it's about time NBC bring back Law & Order (original)...but I digress.

My DVR will be set on CW pretty much all week with Flash, Arrow and Supergirl. I'll probably get into League of Legends too now that's going on for S2.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

                  Re: 2016-2017 TV Season

I'm still waiting for the resurgence of the sitcom, specifically filling the void that The Office and HIMYM have left.

It's amazing to me that we had The Office, HIMYM, Modern Family, and The Big Bang Theory all at the same time and all near peak. I got bored of Modern Family and BBT a couple of years ago and have had no desire to catch up on them. Doesn't really sound like I've missed much. I had hope for Superstore but I think that show is going to fizzle out.

Honestly, my favorite sitcoms on TV right now are The Goldbergs (cause anything 80s is awesome) and Mom. Fresh off the Boat was funny season one, but I didn't check out season two yet.

I'm waiting for the resurgence of the sitcom too but society is over the Seinfeld, Frasier, Cheers-style sitcoms. They're just never coming back. The people are too dumb to enjoy them. They'd rather watch the so-called comedies that all look and feel exactly the ****ing same. And OH NO AUDIENCE LAUGHTER LOL CANT HAVE THOSE SO LAME!

Anybody catch Son of Zorn last night on FOX?

Thought it pretty funny and might get this a chance when it starts up in 2 weeks?

Didn't even know there was a 2nd episode of Atlanta that already aired.

Just watched that and it was hilarious. Can't wait for the 3rd episode tonight.

I feel bad for completely forgetting that one of the funniest sitcoms on TV actually debuted last season, Life in Pieces. Anyone watched that? It's on CBS, takes a page from Modern Family by telling 3 separate stories per episode of one family that often interacts with each other. Completely forgot about it when I made my last post, but it was friggin hilarious and very underrated.

Just starting watching Mom (at ep #17 in season 2) and it's surprisingly good. Didn't realize that A.Janney won a couple more Emmys for her role in that series.

Yeah, her character is amazing on that show. Anna Farris is great too, very underrated show. Pretty sure it was created by the same dude who created Two and a Half Men and BBT...Chuck Lorre.
