I might do similar thing with Pitch, depending on how I feel about the MLB season come summer 2017. That show itself wasn't bad, but it was just horrible timing to premiere. I don't get how a show like that wasn't a summer show. Airing a baseball related show in the fall-winter? Would be much better if it aired from June-September.

Pretty much the way I feel with an exception- I'm a fan of Abigail Spencer (Suits, Rectify), but not enough to continue watching.

Anyone hear of/watched Milo Murphy's Law? Have no idea if it's a good show or not/if it'll even be appealing, but looking at the many names of people who voiced characters in the show, I'm sure people here will recognize multiple names on it(ranging from Weird Al to Vanessa Williams to Wayne Brady among others), which is the only reason why I'm even asking about it.

It makes me remember Quantum Leap, but still different....

We liked Revolution, and knowing that we figure he's halfway decent at crafting a longer term story....vs being done by some new person...
I said the same thing, I had a couple other shows in mind but now I can't remember, I think The Butterfly Effect movie was one...

...actually now that I think of it the other comparison was Final Destination lol, and I probably could've simply scrolled up since I posted that exact comparison

              Re: 2016-2017 TV Season

Just binged Timeless this week. This is definitely my kind of show. Cheesiness with a little bit of history. Reminds me somewhat of Warehouse 13. Hopefully it gets renewed for a second season, or at the very least they wrap up the current story line.

Superstore - Gets a laugh out of me each episode. I love the random cuts to customers or employees working.

Designated Survivor - Kind of dry right now as someone mentioned in the main thread, but I plan on sticking with it. I know now to expect Jack Bauer.

Scorpion - Cheesiest show on TV, but for some reason I tune in every week despite the structure of the crisis being the same every single episode.

Brendan Fraser tries a comeback on the third season of The Affair. Maura Tierney's character hilariously refers to him as "Fatty"-(not to his face).

I just can't stand LeBlanc's wife-give me the hot chick from Yes Dear....but seriously, they have no chemistry, and their romantic scenes are, well... UGH...

We are liking This is Us...almost caught up in a weekend. Interesting enough characters with twists and turns...though I wonder how long they can keep the intrigue going

I honestly think the wife from Kevin Can Wait and the wife from Man With a Plan should be swapped. I think it'd be more believable for both shows.

True, but at least Kevin James and the hottie have some chemistry just like he had with Leah Remini.

Agreed. Looks aren't everything in a relationship but my wife said it'd be much more believable if the wife from KCW was with Matt LeBlanc instead. I don't disagree.

Amazing show. The girl and I usually watch this Saturday night. I caught myself wanting to live watch on Tuesday. Went into it as a show to push through with the girl but I'm hooked with her. Every character is likeable.

The best show on television, imo.

EDIT: I just read that Helen Hunt is directing the December 6th episode.

Recently finished season one of Insecure on HBO. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of Louie, Master of None, Atlanta type shows. Season one is only eight episodes so you can easily knock it fairly quick.
