Really enjoying this season so far, but if I could change one thing it would be to scrap the stupid rule where the whole team is safe from elimination each week. We have Day, Tiffany and a few others now gunning for Frank but he's safe again without even winning the HOH.

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Yep stop picking people who fit stereotypes that don't even watch the show. Get the fans who actually know the game and just want to play, not get famous. Look at the best players, most of them aren't in the lime light. Seasons with all fans who watch the game would be great. Sure you wouldn't have entertainment because you cast a bunch of crazy people, but you would have entertainment from all the gameplay.
I would love to be on the show because of all the strategy and playing people, but have no interest in applying. I would get too bored, couldn't stand having cameras on me all the time, and wouldn't want to miss work that long. Then there is no way I would ever be picked.

Just casual BB life, gameplaying, scheming, conversations, paranoia, having fun and all that, I could deal with just fine. But there's always things that pop up every now and then that'll make me be like "There's one reason I'm partially glad I'm not on BB".Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
I had a feeling Paulie was gonna win HOH in this type of comp. Watching After Dark, he was the one quizzing everyone on all the details in the pics. He had every intention of throwing the comp though, but unfortunately wasn't able to do so since Frank also made it to the end of the HOH comp.
2 weeks in a row, a big planned out HOH comp throw has backfired. Frank is safe, just wonder who Paulie will target. Go for easy move and get Natalie out, or possibly go after Tiffany/Day?
The thing is, she did nothing to save herself. Her staying had nothing to do with everyone wanting her to stay. They just wanted to take a shot at Frank and use Tiffany to take Frank out. That obviously won't work seeing how Franks safe now.
But Tiffany definitely is annoying people. She's asking everyone multiple times a day if she's safe, basically everyday she's been on the block. And gets upset anytime she sees people talking, freaking out they might be plotting against her. And goes crazy if someone leaves a room when she enters it.

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
I cannot believe that they didn't stay with getting rid of Tiffany. it is going to end up coming back to bite them. I swear Tiffany and Vanessa are one and the same. Has anyone ever seen them together?

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Hopefully they do get her out this week. Constant paranoia is annoying. And HGs tired of never being able to have real conversations with her, cause she always tries spinning conversations into game talk, or trying to pry some kind of info out of someone.
Anyone outside of Day/Tiffany I would be surprised leaving for this upcoming week. As for the battleback comp, my prediction: Jozea beats Glenn, Victor beats Jozea, Victor beats Bronte, and the 5th evicted HG beats Victor. So this upcoming week could mean basically nothing. And the 5th evicted HG in this scenario probably ends up being Tiffany, just because.
My BB Power Rankings Week 4:
1.Paulie(really starting to have that "winner feel" for me,something I don't sense for most other HGs)
2.Nicole(still seems to be flying under the radar despite talking serious game with people)
3.James(playing with 8 pack, but alliance/bond with Natalie seems to be growing bigger)
4.Paul(despite being on block every week and having not so great DRs,seems to have turned things around big time compared to where he was in week 1-2)
5.Corey(still not doing much, but seems to always just be there in room for important conversations)
6.Davonne(the Frank stuff seems to have hurt her game abit too and now looks like a target for upcoming week)
7.Michelle(similar to Zakiyah, bonus points this week for "drunk michelle")
8.Zakiyah(still laying real low in the house)
9.Frank(unintentionally digging his own grave)
10.Natalie(Bronte gone, probably distancing from Bridgette soon too, moving towards James, that's good for her game)
11.Tiffany(Got so lucky she's still in the house)
12.Bronte(ends up being evicted, and acts like telling people she's good at math is a big secret. Funny/Sad that her best moment in the game for me,was her exit interview, which was actually somewhat funny)
13.Bridgette(Despite winning HOH/Veto,don't think she's really gained any respect from HGs,if anything it's hurt her, and now just seen as Franks "cabbage patch doll")Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
I think Victor will win battle back at this point, unless someone surprising goes out this week the people speculated as targets aren't very good at comps.
Jozea would be good for live feeds at least but can't see him winning.
Glenn would be interesting in that he would basically be a stranger coming back since they didn't get to know him as much but he doesn't seem to be a comp threat so he would probably go back out soon.Favorite Teams:

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
I'm hooked on feeds. This is what I gathered from watching it.
I've heard Victor auditioned twice in a row.
Bronte auditioned last year and just missed the final cuts. She's from Denver. Guess which female from Denver was on BB17?
Natalie is friends with Tiffany and Krista from Amazing Race 27 and was recruited.
Michelle,Bridgette, Glenn are definitely fans of the show. Michelle gives shout outs to Reddit all the time.
Paul and Jozea are recruits. I believe Corey was a recruit.
Not sure about Zakiyah.
Tiffany although had connections, watched the live feeds from BB17 attentively, which makes sense because Vanessa was on it.
For some reason, most of the new cast seemed to have only watched BB16.
Bronte and Natalie kept claiming that they just want to make it to jury because I've heard a couple of times that you make 14k if you're a jury member.
James and Natalie have openly talked about wanting to do the Amazing Race together. I hope that happens, they got connections and it would be fun seeing them on it.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Corey was a recruit correct.
Zakiyah's mom is a super fan but still not clear whether or not Zakiyah watches the show consistently or if she was recruited.Favorite Teams:

Surprised Victor applied for BB. Really has that Survivor castaway feel to him more than a BB houseguest. He'd probably do real well on survivor too.
But ya,basically everything else you mentioned, I got from watching feeds too. I know everyone here doesn't care about the whole recruit vs fan debate, but at least some of the recruits are entertaining. Friendship Paul for recruits, and Drunk Michelle for fans lol. If it all leads to one of my faves winning, I won't mind how the rest of cast is like.Last edited by Majingir; 07-15-2016, 11:52 PM.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
CBS gives them a season or 2 to watch in sequester so they don't look like total idiots and can somewhat hide that they don't watch the show. Otherwise some viewers may give up watching the show.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Nominations/roadkill winner(and nominee) spoilers and spoiler on what the veto comp is(but not who won, since it hasn't happened yet)
Spoiler
Natalie,Tiffany nominated by Paulie
Corey nominated by RK winner Tiffany
The veto comp is the dice comp(the one most notably used in BB16 when it was the house vs Devin, and everyone was cheering the moment he got eliminated)
She's lost it. Nominating one of the people who kept her, not to mention is her "teammate". Really hope Tiffany loses the veto. If she somehow survives AGAIN.......
Ya. It's even been confirmed by past HGs that BB does give people a past season to watch when in sequester before the season begins. Typically the most recent or two that have happened. Which is why it's often easy to spot recruits vs fans when you look at pre-game bios and see someone name multiple players from past season or two as their faves ever.Comment

It was a solid game move nominating Corey, the reason she put him up is because she is working with Frank and Bridgette since they're all on the outs and also Da'Vonne (not because she trusts her but because Day would benefit from the move), she found out through talking to them that Corey is someone they would all vote out, then they talked to James and he was open to it as well which meant they would only need one more vote to flip it.
After all that Corey won the veto, Day went to Tiffany after that and asked who Tiffany was going to put up in his place and Tiff told her she honestly has no idea, Day said ok and immediately left the room. Tiff called her out on that looking shady and James was in the room as well and Tiffany asked him is that how you treat someone you have a final 2 with since Day offered Tiff a final 2 deal a little ways back, James says no.
Tiffany at this point is leaning to Day for re-nom, talks to Frank and they finally compare notes and realize that Day was the one pitting them against each other. They decide that if Day goes up there is a chance they might be able to get the votes (albeit a slim one). Day did say she wanted Corey out so they decided to push that angle to Corey, so Tiffany came clean to Corey with a lot of info that Day told her (such as the Fatal 5 being an alliance and also the showmace alliance, and also that Day and Nicole have a Final 2 deal), at the same time Tiff is telling Corey this Frank is talking to Paulie about how Day is the reason the 8-pack is dead because she's a s*** stirrer pitting them against each other. Paulie listens and agrees she's a problem but he is dead set on taking Tiffany out this week. Corey was very receptive of what Tiffany told him, he believes Day told Tiff she wants Corey out and presented the info to Nicole who is hesitant to work with this group because she doesn't trust Bridgette but she is open to taking a shot at Day while she is on the block.
By no means does this plan have a high chance for success but it played out pretty favorably so far, obviously Michelle and Zakiyah won't flip, but James might be able to be convinced if Nicole jumps on board. Paulie's arrogance could also burn him, after manipulating the votes last week he told Paul tonight he'd be open to him voting to evict Day so that it would build trust with Frank since Paulie has been using him to spy and relay info from that group tonight, if that happened then Nicole and Corey flipping would make it a 5-3 vote the other way no matter what James does.Last edited by IlliniM1ke; 07-17-2016, 05:22 AM.Favorite Teams:

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Regarding your spoiler and veto winner and likely replacement nom should it be used along with some feed details to fill in blanks as to why certain moves make more sense than they do given how last weeks vote went.

Still find it stupid if they got rid of Corey. All they're really doing is making Nicole more dangerous/more likely to strengthen her female alliance, with no more distractions to hold her back. All while getting out a guy who at the time, had won nothing.
And someone needs to really solidify their spot with James. I really think next hoh comp could be endurance, and that usually favours smaller people. James I could see as frontrunner in that kind of comp.
If it's a 9 person jury, then I'd guess that the jury will begin next week in double eviction(first half is basically this week played over again, the evicted hg goes home. 2nd half, the evicted hg goes to jury).
Everything can just be solved if Tiffany goes this week, Vic or Glenn returns, then Day goes next week.
