    Re: Big Brother: Season 18

Extra vote means nothing right now, but later in the game, could have huge implications.

And I was reading around and found out all the info about that secret power stuff. It clears up everything regarding it. I'll put it in spoiler tags cause I'm guessing they'll probably talk more about it on tomorrows show.

Anyone else find this episode really entertaining?

Pretty surprising for an eviction night with zero drama, but the people scrambling to solve the flight puzzle and figure out the phone, that was pretty cool.

Also, it's a good thing I'm not on the show because I'm claustrophobic as hell and that little tunnel to the hidden room would've been too much for me

        Re: Big Brother: Season 18

I didn't like it. I hope people called out Michelle for her turning crazy jealous. Then she doesn't even keep Frank when she had the option. She would rather him leave so Bridgette wouldn't be with him than save him.

The room gave everyone a chance, they might as well of just handed them each an envelope as they walk out of the house. I was hoping whoever went into the room had to stay there for the rest of the week and couldn't vote/be voted out.

CBS still has control, they didn't show everyone picking envelopes and could easily tell them which one to pick. Plus CBS could switch the envelopes at a later date if they want.

          Re: Big Brother: Season 18

I didn't read spoilers at all. I guess I got 2/3 of those picks right. It technically was the Pandoras Box room, and Paul did get it first.

The HOH comp, really could be anyones game, but based on how HGs did on TV, Paulie,Michelle and possibly Bridgette looked like the 3 people whose ball was going the furthest.

          I like the care package concept. Even more because they did the "1 care package per houseguest" stuff so we won't get one person winning every time and basically "rigging" the season. 5 people can be chosen total. Some interesting care packages they got;
Week 1: Never Not Pass(meaning not a havenot for remainder of season)
Week 2: Eliminate 2 eviction votes
Week 3: Super safety(HG is safe for entire week, but has to wear a costume for that week)
Week 4: Co-HOH(Which likely means in week 4,the HOH comp will be completed on TV,so that the HOH winner won't be an option to be voted for)
Week 5: BB Bribe(the winner gets 5K which they are allowed to break BB rules,by bribing someone with cash to do something like vote the way they want, use or not use the veto, put up a certain person or so on)
Some big stakes right there. Any guesses at who fans will vote for each one? My guess:
Week 1-Nicole(she seems to hate slop so much more than most HGs)
Week 2-DaVonne(I think people will choose her cause they know she'll use that advantage the best)
Week 3-James(so he's safe for the week obviously)
Week 4-Natalie(doubtful she's winning an HOH to begin with, and her HOH win means James is basically HOH)
Week 5-Paul(ie)? One of those 2 I could see being "cold blooded" enough to strike up some kind of impactful bribe with that money.

              Re: Big Brother: Season 18

My Week 6 BB Power Rankings:
1.Paulie(didn't really improve much, but nobody else really doing better than him right now)
2.James(HOH winner, even if going back on his word might have angered Bridgette, seemed to make Michelle the bigger target for Bridgette over him)
3.Natalie(she's gonna end up being a more likeable Victoria lol. If she makes it to the end, just watch her end up winning. Just like how BB16 jury admitted Victoria would've won had she faced Cody in the end)
4.Paul(he did at least get to be the first one to solve the Paris code, and is still just in the room whenever any big conversation happens)
5.Nicole(slowly starting to become a target for people, trusting Frank too much and being in a showmance might catch up to her)
6.Michelle(She finally won something, even if she's now target #1 to Bridgette)
7.Frank(he did try his best to stay and gave it his all,the Boogie coaching him stuff probably hurt his game as well since HGs were scared of that)
8.Zakiyah(nothing has changed about her game so far)
9.Corey(I feel like he could end up being voted out soon as "collateral damage" in others trying to get Nicole out)
10.Victor(Came back into the house and avoided even going up,listening to Paul 100% now)
11.Davonne(if Bridgette doesn't go next week, she really could be the target)
12.Bridgette(the cabbage patch kid is now on her own)

Doing power rankings like sports sites do power rankings for teams.

Just my opinion on who I think has played the best/worst game up to this point. Bigger weighted emphasis on the respective past week that just happened in the house.

Sad part, I'm not even a big fan compared to superfan standards. There's many fans out there that live for the live feeds, discuss the game every single day, know everything there is to know about the houseguests in and out of the game, and much more. Some can tell you last names, hometown and occupations of past hgs too. Compared to that, I don't even seem like as big of a fan lol.

I think Paulie is middle of the pack at best.

Pretty much all of them are scrubs though, so it's splitting hairs.

Yeah I'm following the feeds for the first time ever this year and enjoying it but I can't imagine ever getting to that level, even just trying to find time to watch the feeds can be a challenge at times.

Wish I had done this earlier though it's cool watching when you have time browsing recaps when you don't and then seeing how differently things are portrayed on the tv edit in some cases.

Ya, feels like much different, and rushed, show when you compare tv to feeds. It's not as suspenseful obviously watching the show if you know what happened in comps already, which is why I hate how things are scheduled in the house. Viewers have to choose between watching just the show,or following feeds which spoils comp results, can't have middle ground on it.

Today for example, veto comp takes place. TV wise, you don't even know who's hoh yet,but if you watch feeds you'll know how the entire week plays out before TV viewers even know how it began.

I've actually started cutting down on following bb afterdark, cause watching stuff like that, and reading recaps on what happened on feeds, have made the show feel less special and suspenseful.

I completely agree. These contestants and the ones in recent years are horrible players. Remember when Diary Room sessions were a roast of contestants and it wasn't all this contrived garbage. I'm so sick of "blood on my hands", "big moves" and naming an alliance every 5 minutes. The last good season, in my opinion was with The Bragade. They were a true alliance and they were funny.

I'm a sucker for this show and I will continue to watch it, however it's not what it's use to be.
I am the lesson after the fall.

7-12(minus 9) to me was the "golden age" of BB. Maybe even group 5&6 in there too, though I hated later parts of S6.

Competitive players, entertaining house, real people, showmances weren't forced upon the viewers(Jeff-Jordan for example,it just naturally happened, and turned into serious thing. And Chilltown showmances in S7, it was 100% strategy, and they played those girls bad. Unlike past few years with showmances from people who want to find someone, come into the house as "single & ready to mingle", think relationship will last outside the house, and it lasts a few months tops).

S13 onwards has been riggage, showmance filled, alliance crazy, recruited cast, people here for a free summer vacation, type of stuff. 13,15 are in my bottom 3 seasons of BB ever. 14,16 have actually aged better to me over time, which is why I'm trying to be more positive about 18. Trying to force myself to enjoy a season no matter what, and see how that changes my opinion of it once season is done. So far,its working.
