Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Was thinking about this a couple weeks ago. Hasn't the cast over all gotten much younger than it used to be? I mean now they throw one or two "older" people in with all these younger people. Seems like now it's lower 20's to maybe 26 or so? Before it seems like it was late 20's to early mid 30's a while ago? I'm talking back when Will and Mike boogie was first on it give or take a few season around that time.
Or at least more people had a more established family life as far as kids, married where they were playing to make better for their family. Not just a summer get away and 15's min of fame.
I haven't looked at the ages in general or over all just something I thought about.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
It's a bit early to speculate, but if Bridgette and Paulie stay up on the block after the Veto comp, the girls would be absolutely stupid to not vote Paulie out. Stop being worried about who you're going to get to hang out with at the jury house and put yourself in better position to win the money. I'm dying for some real game/power moves.
Corey is close with Paulie and wouldn't vote him out over Bridgette. Meaning Nicole wouldn't either.

And then they always stick the odd person or two in the house who's older than rest of group and will be picked off early. Frank was the old guy in the house this year lol(Glenn doesn't count since he was there for a day). Says slot about casting when a 32 year old is considered old for the game.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Young cast and almost all recruits is a bad combo.
I've started watching older seasons on CBS All Access and its amazing how much more people used to play the game, its a vacation now and no one will make big moves. There are still some really good players but they are few and far between anymore and I don't think there is a single one this season.
As much as I think Paulie is dominating this season I don't think he would've gone very far in 17 or 16 (so not even looking very far back), this house though is the biggest bunch of followers I've ever seen and there have been plenty of seasons like that lately but this one takes the cake.
Paulie also makes me wonder how bad off Cody would've been without Derrick on BB16, if Cody is close to Paulie in terms of personality I think he would've gotten himself on the radar early in that season but Derrick always talked him down when he was frustrated about things.Favorite Teams:

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Most people seem to say Paulie is a much better player than Cody, and I think that is true.
And I agree about the summer vacation stuff. Most people nowadays are just in the house for summer vacation, while getting paid more money than they would've for a job in the same timespan(you get $1000 a week for literally just living in a fancy house 24/7). Similar with Survivor too, people wanting to be on it seem to apply cause they think Survivor is so easy, and it's basically a cool getaway to live on an island for 39 days and relax in the nice sun on a beach.
There's a reason when shows bring back vets, it's a much more competitive season, these people want to win. They're not giving up their life again just to have fun, they care about winning and anything else is a disappointment.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
I agree Paulie is clearly better than Cody but I wonder if Cody would've played more aggressively like Paulie if he didn't have an alliance member that was a mastermind like Derrick who kept him level headed and flying under the radar making sure he didn't make waves that would get him targeted.Favorite Teams:

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Amount goes up once you make jury I believe. Some of the recruits flat out told the vets to just keep them until jury, cause they want the bigger payday. Once jury gets announced, youll be seeing different gameplay by people for that reason.
And big news regarding BB19. Not yet confirmed by CBS, but many notable sites are reporting this as if this news is confirmed already:
SpoilerBB19 airing in fall 2016, will be 10 weeks, new hgs, airing exclusively on CBS all access. Basically starting once bb18 is overComment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Spoiler
I don't know if cbs cares about that. They clearly don't care about giving anyone else access to live feeds, they prob won't care about that season either.
Best scenario would be airing on TV somehow. Maybe SliceTV could get some kind of deal since they do air After Dark and some BB Canada stuff

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Not sure why we have to use a spoiler to tell about BB19 which isn't even on yet.
But I have never missed a season of BB but if they really do air it the way say they are going to, I will not be watching.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Re: Big Brother: Season 18
Using spoilers just in case there's news people don't want to hear since right now, it's an unconfirmed rumor. I know on other tv show threads, people don't even like if you say the name of an actor who's guest starring on an episode several months from now.
Ok, now we can talk about it openly on here since CBS has confirmed the big news.
