    Re: Big Brother: Season 18

The 12 new houseguests for 'Big Brother's' digital edition talk showmances, strategy, missing the election and much more.

BB OTT cast revealed. Nobody really stands out, and I know what I said about superfans vs recruits, but still had to mention this...
Monte-Doesn't even remember who won last year.....

Kryssie-Flat out admits only reason she got casted is cause BB saw a viral video of her

Justin-Again,admits he was recruited. Never followed BB,but a rejected MasterChef applicant.

    Michael-Says he only saw BB16

    Alex-At least she's a fan

    Morgan-Only watched past few

    Shane-Only saw 17/18

Scott-Of course, cause he's the superfan nerd of the season

    Neeley-Says she's a fan,but was recruited

Shelby-Doesn't know what BB is,just found out it's a tv show that you can win money on

Danielle-Actually did apply in past seasons

    Whitney-Another fan
So really, only 4 real BB fans. And abunch just recruited without even knowing what Big Brother is.

      Re: Big Brother: Season 18

They were sequestered before BB18 ended so that's why Monte doesn't know who won this season.

Alex looks to be the standout cast member of this season IMO, huge fan of the show but seems like she will have a strong social game as well, watches live feeds, watches BB Canada, Dan Gheesling is her favorite player, least favorite winner is Andy and hated how James played the game this year.

I think it will hurt her that her sister is on the show with her but if she can survive that I think she can go far.

Yeah Michelle was bizarre, she wanted a showmance with Frank and was anti-Bridgette ever since she realized it wouldn't happen. She also wanted to have scathing speeches, only to cry her eyes out all the time. You can't have it both ways. She's kinda bonkers. Although, it takes one to know one

          Anyone watching OTT so far?

Early but this cast overall seems far better than 18, still has some duds but overall seems like whoever took over casting this season did a good job.

I can't figure out what I'm actually supposed to watch. I have CBS All Access and I'm signed in. All I see are 6 minute recaps and some live feed clips.

It's all feeds besides events at certain times.

                All times eastern:
Weds - 10pm weekly episode, 11pm live eviction, 12am HOH comp
Thurs - time not announced Julie Q&A with house guests and interview with evictee, 10pm weekday replay
Fri - 10pm weekday replay, 1030pm live diary rooms
Sat - 4pm have not reveal, 10pm safety ceremony part 1
Sun - 10pm safety ceremony part 2 and nomination reveal
Mon - 4pm veto competition, 10pm weekday replay
Tues - 4pm veto ceremony, 10pm weekday replay, 1030pm live diary rooms

Those are the key times to tune in, any other times will just be regular live feeds, if you can't watch those times live (hard especially if you're on the east coast) you can pick a specific time to go back and watch so you can still watch all those key events even if you can't see them live.

The CBS app on the Roku is far less expansive than what's available at CBS.com. The app only gives you live feeds, a few short hand-picked clips, and the nightly recaps. The nightly recaps have been OK so far, but really not sure how much longer I can follow along without having access to see the comps and such. Needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed with the selection on the app.

Oh, well than I am out on this concept lol. I figured they would have had some kind of recap every couple days or daily posted to the app/website.

Yeah my only concern is having Jason in there, I think this season would've been perfect without a returnee, but I have a feeling his followers will heavily influence most of the votes so the other side of the house (a girls alliance that actually looks like they could work together for once) is going to face an uphill battle trying to get any of Jason's side out.

Yeah I agree. I wonder if he would have gone home this week if he had not won the POV.

Yeah I think if Jason remained on the block he would've gone home, but Cornbread would have had to come down from the block otherwise the flip could still happen.

Alex, Whitney, and Monte all intended to remove Cornbread from the block had they won veto (strictly due to him being a number for them right now).

In that scenario it's Jason vs Danielle and I think votes would go:

Jason - Kryssie and America to stay

Danielle - Shane, Alex, Morgan, Whitney, Justin

Neeley, Shelby, and Scott weren't as concrete but I think Neeley would have kept Danielle, Scott probably would've taken the opportunity to get the vet out, and Shelby would probably vote with her alliance and send Jason out as well. Even if they all went as votes to keep Jason then Monte would break the tie and send him out.

That veto was worst case scenario, looks like that side of the house is just going to steamroll until the plastics side is gone which is crazy considering the plastics side has had HOH both weeks.

I am still enjoying this season but I do not like how America can vote to evict. I wonder if bringing back Jason was a mistake because his fans are just going to continue to put up the other side and because they can't win a veto to save their life, they are just going to get steamrolled.
