Yeah, something is definitely odd. The flashbacks seem to be adding very small snippets of 'remembering'.

And now that Facebook message, etc..

Still do not believe the mortician did anything, as creepy as he seems.

The mortician was just burned by a lot of women lol. I'm glad the feet are over for now it was getting ridiculous. Also I'm starting to believe Naz is not guilty of this crime, but he has demons.

Yeah, the whole money thing with the Step Dad raises a ton of red flags, and something I find odd the prosecution chose to gloss over. 12 million dollar home for a 23 year old girl?

I guess they are too focussed on the 'obvious' evidence, but the obvious usually is not the most, well, obvious, lol.

I'm waiting for someone to figure out that the knife on the table is not the same knife that was used to kill her.

Only 2 episodes left? That's it the series is over? Not sure how that wrap it up that quickly. I think Naz is going to end up getting charged for something in prison. If the series was longer I could see Nazs brother getting messed up and Naz killing his brothers attacker in prison after Freddy's nothing is more important than family spiel. But I don't think we have time for that.

I think Naz is buying into the Freddy you can get what u need anywhere and he's started to like the prison life. No other reason to start getting knuckles tatted and doing drugs right before the trial if you wanted to do everything to prove your innocence.

In the end the twist could be that Naz did do It but I doubt the knife he had was the murder weapon. Naz doesn't know why he pushed that kid down the stairs he might go into blind rage and the drugs triggered it.

I don't think the step dad or the mortician did it. The mortician would have been much cleaner. The step dad would have been more physical like a smothering with him being a trainer. The only possibility that I can think of is the step dad paid Duane Reid to carve her up for a decent pay day.

Might be a case of "murder weapon in your pocket" trumping a further investigation of greedy stepdad.

Paul Sparks has been in demand lately (Boardwalk Empire, House Of Cards) but casting him as a personal trainer/gigolo is curious.

Rewatched the episode last night and Naz appeared to say more to the female attorney than a simple good night.

And what was up with the delivery person just leaving the food without taking the money. She acted as if she didn't even order it but was going to pay for it anyway.

                    Yeah, it was Mr. Khan.

What the heck is up with, Naz? Getting tattoos on his knuckles and doing drugs now? I guess per pressure is an SOB. I won't wear the clothes you give me, but yeah, I'll do drugs and get tats before my trial. *shrug*

Show lost a ton of steam for me with episode 6.....pure nonsense. Really just a bad episode. Tainted the entire series for me.

I am watching the last 2 to see the conclusion. But this quickly degraded into a bad prison story.

Didn't get a serious taint of the series based on this last episode. It's not like Naz just got in prison, or that his inexplicable behavior just showed itself. And plenty of this episode occurred outside Rikers.

Wow I totally agree, thought the same thing when the episode ended.
It didn't taint the whole series for me but it was like this episode was written and directed by someone else. It was a very horrible, boring episode compared to the first 5.
And 1 thing I totally don't get it...Freddy keeps helping him out and getting him ready for court. Yet he lets his dudes tat him all up? What was that? And who does that?

I just think this episode was more about showing how prison can change a man and his immediate family. Not terrible but not as good as previous, but hey Jack wore shoes

But he has not been in prison long enough and he is completely out of touch with his parents, his lawyers...all of it.

It's just lost touch with what reality would think. His decisions from the moment he stole the cab have been an utter disaster. Which leads me to believe more and more he did it. He is on a fast track to survive in prison. He feels more and more like a convicted criminal, then an innocent college kid at the wrong place at the wrong time. Something is seriously up.

I loved the first 5 episodes. Everything about them was great. This last episode just really jumped the shark of what the build up had going.

Since it is only 8 episodes I feel like they are trying to cram in too much. It's way too fast for him to be tatting up, becoming a freebase addict, shave my head and look like a total convict before I am even proven guilty. Unless of course we don't know what he is feeling inside his head as he keeps having more vivid flash backs about "The Night Of".

The whole Jack London "Call of The Wild" theme is certainly playing out though. Crystal clear that Naz is "Buck" right now.

Hopefully redemption of the series takes place here in the last 2 episodes.

You didn't see a severe behavioral change from Naz before the sixth episode? What about when he challenges the guy who wants to watch a certain TV channel? Didn't he shave his head in episode 5? His bad guy trajectory started before #6.
