First episode was kinda a mess for me but its starting to pick up after the third episode. Every scene with Mahershala Ali (Cottonmouth) is awesome, such a good actor.

I never knew his name but have liked him in everything I've ever seen him in. Keep just calling him Remy because of House of Cards

                Re: Marvel's Luke Cage

I just finished the second episode - saw that **** coming, but still hated it.

Anyway, so far this is head and shoulders above Daredevil at the same point in that series. This is the complete package. There's an identity and each piece of the show adds to the whole puzzle from the soundtrack and score, cinematography, and immediately building a handful of strong characters.

The "problems" I've had with Daredevil they've seemed to not only fix, but have embraced the roots of its comic book origin.

Really predictable through three episodes, looking forward to seeing where it goes from here. Loving it.

The mobster take on some of these old villains is interesting.

                    Re: Marvel's Luke Cage

Okay, maybe I need to post this in the unpopular opinions thread, but this hasn't caught me in the early going at all. I find the background music (not the sound track) really annoying and overbearing. The main actor, Mike Coltor, is fine enough in this role, but this doesn't come across to me as a lead role. Additionally, I don't see in the early going a great, unique villian in Cottonmouth, and certainly not one that's all that powerful. Frankie Faison (Pop) always delivers and was a great casting choice.

I certainly thought Jessica Jones was a step below the high bar that Daredevil set. I do need to give this a few more episodes I'm sure. Also looking forward to Iron Fist and how they tie everything together with The Defenders.

On the third episode. Remy, " Don't call me Cottonmouth!" Is killing this role. Him and his cousin, Alfre Woodard are so good

Enjoyed 4 more than I thought I would, hope we're done with flashbacks. Just a pet peeve. Loved all the easter eggs.

                          I didn't expect...

Now that Netflix is back up, on to episode 5 before family takes me away for the evening. Wish I could finish this this weekend so I can dive into the different discussions and videos, but that isn't going to happen.

Three episodes in so far and its been great. Showed my park in episode two and many other familiar Harlem spots throughout each episode, authentic area and great casting. I'm already looking forward to season two.

I am honestly kind of shocked by a lot of "meh" responses I have seen around the web. I think it's stellar, I was very impressed with the cast. I am biased though as I tend to love all these comic book TV series no matter what.
