I'm pretty sure both may have gotten cancelled to roll them into "Heroes for Hire" cause on their own, each respective show wasn't very good. However as a duo, i think they're more entertaining.

They better leave Jessica Jones alone, behind Daredevil, that show is awesome.

It was and still is the 3rd best. Honestly surprised it hasn't been cancelled yet.

Luke Cage was the only one I watched fully apart from Daredevil.

I tried getting into The Punisher since he did great in season two of DD, but only made it a couple episodes in.

          Re: Marvel's Luke Cage

Just read it was canceled for creative differences, like they couldn't figure out a plan for the next season. Also, saw that interest (measured by Twitter posts) tanked between seasons 1 and 2, and that the same is true for DD and JJ, so we'll see where that goes. JJ season 2 was hard for me to even get through.

Kinda weird IMO, it's like if Avengers was widely disliked or people just thought it was boring, and then you're surprised the next movie out of Phase 2 does poorly. People didn't like Defenders, and that's what we were building to. Then they never really tried to tie them into the movies. I feel like this is the same BS Marvel did with not focusing on X-Men comics because they didn't have the movie rights and didn't want to hype up someone else's movies. I'll be interested to see if they end up on the Mouse's app.

          Begun, the streaming wars have.

I keep seeing rumors/speculation that Netflix cancelled them so Disney could take over.

I'm not sure where the idea started from or how they would be able to keep the same casts.
