Everything looks the same to me on Vue as it did on my old Charter cable service. While I don't know the particulars exactly, I believe most stuff is broadcast in 720p or 1080i (whether cable or Vue) and then your TV upscales the content depending on what kind of TV you have. I can't say with 100% certainty what all content will look like, and it might depend on other hardware/settings/channels, but I don't perceive any difference in picture quality compared to my old Charter cable service.

One of the nice things about Vue (and spare me for sounding like a pitch man here, lol) is that you can try it out and cancel right away without even speaking to a sales rep. Literally the click of a button. If you have a PS3 or PS4 (or Roku/Firestick) you can test it yourself and see if you like it. Maybe you disagree with me on the picture quality. Who knows? Some guys that are convinced they can detect very slight changes in picture quality and it needs to be pretty obvious for me to notice or care.

I enjoyed PS Vue's layout, but I had to jump on the DTVNow deal. It was a rough start but the services has been top notch since. If the price was comparable, I would definitely pick Vue.

No good. That's horrible for people who like interacting when watching stuff.

Agree. Just tried 2 devices. With my PS4 it's 25 seconds. Almost exact. Tried the Cavs game and a tv show. My iPad, almost a minute. Varied between 35-55 seconds. Especially on the Cavs game.

How is the quality of Vue?
I have a Kodi box and I'm watching MLB Network and the picture is really good.
However not all the live streams are this quality.

I'm hoping Vue will eventually make its way to Canada.

Quality for me is as good as watching cable. Every once in a while it'll get choppy for about 15 seconds, but it's very rare.

Technically it's a 'grey' area in Canada at this time, lol.
But yes, the feeds are pirated to a degree.
MLB Network works great because it's coming from a stream using a legit account.
The same can't be said for all channels though.

I may just go with antennae sooner than later as we can get most of our shows legally thru Netflix, Amazon, etc.

                          Its good.
My internet is only 10mbps, but everything comes in as good as my directv used to except for hockey games.

The quality gets really good for hockey games if my wireless internet stays above 10mbps consistently for at least 10 15 minutes.

I imagine the picture wont be an issue as long as you have normal internet.

On Apple TV I use: Hulu, Netflix, and Direct TV Now currently. Have someones cable credenitals luckily so I can watch Cavs and Indians on the Fox Sports Go app on Apple TV as well.

Honestly, the only reason I pay for Direct TV Now is so my kid can get Disney Junior access and I can get AMC access. Actually it also makes watching Raw and Smackdown on USA easier then having to airplay from my iPAD using my friends cable credentials in the USA app.

So dumb the USA app has a live option on iPAD, but not on the Apple TV version.

Disney Jr has an app (not sure if Apple TV, but Fire and Roku do i believe) that with the cable credentials you can watch live or on demand episodes....that'd help you there, but not AMC

Yes we use the app, but I have TWC credentials and they won't let you login to Disney and quite a few others unfortunately.
