I appreciate your perspective here. I think the whole "R-rated comic book movie" movement is gonna be a good thing in the long run, but it may take some getting used to/some bumps in the road. I think the key is to make an R-rated movie for the sake of providing the most authentic experience possible, not to just throw in an extra bucket of blood here or there.

You're not weird though. I thought Cloverfield was the worst movie I had seen in a long time, left the theater shaking my head, and probably 99 percent of the people who have seen it, that I know at least, love it.

Oh. Yeah. It's a good thing we all have different opinions.

My issues with the R rating was that it just felt forced. F bombs for the sake of saying them. Nudity for. Well who knows. And the brutal kill was cool. But the rest was over done.

Honestly. 90% of that movie was in the trailers. Which was a shame for 2:30 hour movie.

Loved Old Man Logan comic storyline and how they tweaked it here to fit it in movie form. Expected more House of M storylines but this was straight up Old Man Logan.

      Overall. I'd say 6/10.

That's an interesting point on the R rating, I always feel the opposite. To me, people having casual conversations without cursing at all almost feels inauthentic. Not like every conversation involves cursing, just when people are hanging out with their friends I always get the feeling this is not how people talk unless there's a **** in there lol.

I saw it last night and loved it. I hated seeing it end. Seeing 24 was awesome as well, basically wanted to see that my entire life. Between Vader in Rogue One and 24 now, I'm starting to run out of things kid me wishes I could see on a big screen.

I know exactly what you mean. I thought it was cool for most part, but it definitely dragged in a few places. I thought the movie was going to be better based on some of the impressions I saw.

I used to think the same, but it really depends on what part of the country your from and/or what venue you're in. I think age group also matters in this. I don't wanna derail the thread though. Looking forward to seeing this in light of the comments here.

I thought it was a very powerful and compelling film. About the only thing I don't like and it's not really about the film, is that this is the best we get of the character and it's the last film.

Absolutely exceptional. That's the Wolverine I've been waiting to see. Loved every minute of it. Easily my favorite comic book movie yet.

Great portrayal of Logan and one hell of an introduction to X-23.

I really liked the film very well done. I loved the character interactions & the gritty, grounded style of the film compared to a typical x-men film which I also enjoy. I never felt the swearing or brutal bloody action was overdone. Everyone around me were loving it as well.

Just came from seeing this movie with a few friend and we all loved it, seemed to get a lot of good talk afterwards also. The little girl was so bad ***..she played the part really well. It was weird and funny seeing Professor X cursing, was also weird

Great movie. Best of the X-films behind just Deadpool for me.

                                I don't think that's from the comics.
