Yeah I was surprised as well. I'll be getting the wal-mart exclusive version. Would love to get them all but my wallet can only take so much. lol

So wait, WalMart will have a B&W version.

Is there going to be any difference between a B&W version, and desaturating your color on your television to 0? Because there wasn't a difference with The Mist.

I'm not saying this isn't a cool way to watch the film (it certainly was with The Mist). I just don't get why it necessitates a different version when it's an easy TV tweak. Makes it seem more gimmicky than anything else.

If they do some things to change up the picture based on it being B&W, that would be cool.

EDIT: Nevermind, just found an interview by Mangold that addresses it:

The director answered questions on Twitter telling fans it would only be in domestic theaters and explaining “To make a great B&W version of a film, the whole thing’s gotta be regraded & timed shot by shot.”

That's cool, then. I'm just hoping there is some actual lure to this. Just watched a B&W fan-made trailer and it doesn't work unless it has a crap load of film grain to it as well. The "clean" look just doesn't work.

Wish there was some "film grain" effect on there, even if artificial.

Looks wicked cool though. I'll definitely be giving that one a look at some point.

Haven't been a fan of the Everything Great videos until I saw this one:

Some things I really didn't pay attention to/look back at connect very well here, and the way that they highlight some of the greater things about this film just make me love it even more.

Have seen this movie 3 times now. 1 time in theaters and watched it last week and one of my friends just got it last night and was watching it when I got over to his place. Love this movie so much the best xmen movie I have seen and just a great CBM over all.

Just watched the Noir cut. Added nothing to the film or experience, personally. I thought it would be cool, but I simply recommend the color version only.

Just seems like it's "different to be different."

Finally watched this for the first time last night and wow! I didn't pay attention to the rating so my jaw was hanging open from the first fight scene. I also don't think I've ever seen a little kid look that bad ***! Loved the little girl in her role.

Did they ever mention specifically why Wolverine and Charles were in their original situation to begin with?
