It’s nothing but laziness. Honestly has anyone noticed they pretty much race changed pre-established characters already or are in talks to? Catwoman, Harvey Dent, poison ivy, commission Gordon, black canary in birds of prey and already made some changes to ones who already appeared like deadshot for one. It’s just blatantly obvious on what Hollywood is doing. People will go right ahead and say “what’s wrong with that? We need diversity! Race doesn’t define their character”. It’s lazy writing. Changing race of characters who have been pre-established for many years and now in these days of race politics and political agendas if anyone was to say something they get attacked....
If you support it, your praised. If you dont like it, your labled, it's very annoying. So go ahead and lable me for my opinion.
It's like my hate of Miles Morales, no it's not because he is a different race, it's because at the time Peter dies and then boom, New spiderman with pretty much same backstory and new powers before fans were even done with Peter's funeral.
Then it is forced down everyone's throat to love him with writing that always ends with #shockstun.
I'll still see the movie but it doesnt mean I cant be like everyone else and judge the casting.
