Well I am back with Comcast now! lol
    Well I actually never left.
After getting my fire stick and trying Directv Now for a couple weeks...
I cant stand it. It freezes all the time like every 5 minutes or so for about 5-10 seconds each time. It kicks me out of my Directv Now App all the time too.
I also get no local channels and my sports channels would not always show up on my guide to watch them. $40 a month is great, if it would have worked right.

You get what you pay for....

at least that's how I keep justifying the 150 bucks I pay for DirectTV each month.

DTV working out the kinks, but Vue has been solid for me. I have anything and everything I would want to watch for less than 60 a month in tv service

The stream has been fantastic of late.

            I have no complaints anymore.

Further, the App is a lot better on the APTV than it is on the Fire Stick.

              I would imagine so

Good to hear that DTV now is better. I didn't like it at all when I tried it when it first came out. More viable players in the market, the better.

                Re: DirecTV Now

DTV Now is still working fairly well for me. There are still those random times where it'll glitch up and you have to re-log in , but my internet connection is rock solid using the FireTV.

My only must have is ESPN, so once my 3 months are up I can always try out vue or go back to Sling Orange for $20/mo

Haven't tried either of the promo gifts:
Roku Premiere for prepaying for a month of Sling (they ran out of the regular roku sticks)
Apple TV for 3 months of DTVNow
