      Re: Drones?

So finally had a chance to fly the mavic yesterday for the first time. So easy to get started and flying. Honestly if you played a first person shooters before you can fly it so easy.

Crazy how stable it is when its hovering, just like a tripod in the middle of the air.

Gopro Karma, after 16 days on the market. It got recalled for power failure mid flight smh

They just re-released. It still sucks.

Told you! If you've flown other drones it's cool. Once you fly this Drone even once. You'll always remember how EASY it was.

Did you get a chance to fly in sports mode? Probably not. But that's where you see the beast get released.

I'm sure quite a bit since drones with low volt detection and auto landing are not the standard yet. Most of your cheap ones aren't going to have it, maybe a LED warning. Typically drones with GPS or a barometer (for altitude hold) will have some type of autolanding feature.

Add that to inexperienced people flying.

Which would you recommend between the 501S and the CX-20?

Which is easier to fly (best for beginners) ?

I haven't flown the CX20 but the 501s is great for the price.

Did you watch the video of sports mode? It turns so tight. And you can feel the speed in the footage.

I just wish I had the time to go to different parts of the island, i'm just having a blast with this Mavic Pro, one of the best things I ever bought. I'm still getting used to all the features and playing with the camera and just went a 1000 ft. That was scary, thought I was gonna lose it but its a champ.

Whatever country you're going to.. check their drone laws. I was going to take mine to Dominican Republic but heard some horror stories going through customs.

Where? I haven't heard one bad thing about traveling with the Mavic. I heard someone has traveled international and throught the US several times without a problem. Only problem is people stop him to find out what is.

Not specifically Mavic stories but drones in general. I would check before you travel is all I'm saying. Other countries do have drone laws/limitations.

I'm talking internationally, not within the US.

Made another video of my neighborhood. Dusting off those editing skills while my mavic is in service.
