Jennifer Aniston, who introduced the in memoriam segment, mentioned him specifically.

I've never seen the show either. Apparently they have filmed at least 8 episodes and Paxton's son was in the 8th episode.

Sad news out of Hollywood on Sunday, with People magazine reporting that actor Bill Paxton has died at 61 following complications from surgery. Paxton, perhaps best known for his roles in Titanic, Apollo 13, and Aliens, was working right up until…

I saw a couple of episodes, I didn't think it was really all that good. It seemed low budget and the acting was cheesy (not Paxton though, he seemed good as always). I don't think it would have made it unless maybe it got a lot better in a hurry but I did plan to keep watching at least a few more episodes.

Guess I can delete this subscription now as I doubt anything will come of it.

Twister is what I'll always remember him for, but I thought he was really good in a supporting role in Edge of Tomorrow.

Agreed. Really sad and he was young too.

Played a very under-rated role in Near Dark, which is 1 of my favorite movies. Great actor who will be missed

I'll always remember Bill from Big Love and Frailty. The man came across as a super nice and "golly gee" guy but boy could he sure play creepy and "God told me to skin you alive" really well too..LOL

Earlier this month Paxton talked about his ailments as a child & thinks it may have damaged his heart valves. http://www.msn.com/en-ca/entertainme...FXL?li=AAggFp5

He was great as the meathead big brother in Weird Science, too. I'd encourage anyone to look up some of his lines from that movie on IMDb and I dare you not to LOL.
