Re: Fargo (Season 3)
The actress (are we allowed to say actress any longer?) is Mary Elizabeth Winstead. I said the same as you, then looked her up on IMDB. 10 Cloverfield Lane ..... of course! Just couldn't place her.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 3)
Highly underwhelmed by episode 2. Talk about the definition of a filler episode, but already? Hoping some new interesting cast members show up. You know how you have the "likable" villains, which were especially evident in season 2 (e.g., Mike Milligan, played by Bokeem Woodbine, who incidentally is going to be in the upcoming Spider-Man movie). Well, the British guy is simply annoying me. Winstead's character dropped off as well. And what she pulled off in the office was just gross and stupid if you think about it from an evidence standpoint.Last edited by daflyboys; 05-01-2017, 12:13 PM.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 3)
Other then a backstory for Ennis (AKA sci fi author Thaddeus Mobley) I'm not sure how this episode will ever meaningfully connect with any future episode. The events of his past had nothing to do with his death, as Gloria found out near the end.
Was it just me or did Gloria seem attracted to the California cop who turned out to be only slightly smarter and more of a jerk then Rob McElhenney's more famous character on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia?Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 3)
I thought that episode was quite.....fascinatingly unique. Weird as hell and interesting as hell, especially the last 20 minutes or so. I'm sure it will have some sort of relevance going forward. Or not. It's just a story.
Yes, the cop was basically a calmer Mac, lol.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 3)
Nah I thought so too. I guess fate to be determined.
Pretty wild episode but this season is a bit hard to follow, in my opinion. Not quite sure why. It's not quite held together as well as the first two seasons. Maybe I was just distracted tonight.Comment

Re: Fargo (Season 3)
Uh, there was a huge scene of her getting up and into her car, with music signifying her not giving up (the song escapes me now). So it was pretty clear she was not dead.
Her getting beaten, and then Sy leaving her was intense, but disturbing as hell. Something very nasty will have to happen to him now.
The show is completely cohesive. But it is a complicated take with many threads. If you are surfing the net, you are going to be lost.
The season is fantastic, and **** is getting way real now.

Oh I know, I saw her getting up and driving. Thought the question was her status in the tub.Comment
