    Canadian Television

Feel free to discuss any of the Canadian TV shows on here. Whether it be something like Big Brother Canada, Amazing Race Canada, Dragons Den, even Canadian sports shows(Tim and Sid, Sportsnet Connected, SportsCentre ect.).

And even just general notes about Canadian TV Networks like possible network scheduling changes to any show(regardless if it's US or Canadian show).

In terms of BB Canada, I'll just start it off by saying that Bruno/Cass better be the F2. Gary/Sindy are annoying people and I hate how much love people like that get from fans. Reasons like that show why I probably don't like BB(Canada or US) as much as I used to(and why I never made it on the show either lol) because the types of people they're appealing to through casting aren't any of the demographics I'm in.

As I mentioned before I loved Dragons Den before the successive losses of Shark Tank's Herjavec, O'Leary, and finally non-shark Arlene Dickinson. I saw most of the show's first nine seasons on YouTube.

I tired of Trailer Park Boys after several episodes, but I might get around to watching it again.

I'm waiting with bated breath for the return of Dan and Jay to TSN for their tailor made Sportscentre in the fall with a midnight time slot. The show will be recycled throughout the morning hours as well.

A lot of their schtick will be better appreciated here north of the border I think.

Last time they were on tsn, there wasn't 5 channels were there? And DVRs not as big either. Constant replays and ability to record SC will help lots too.

Despite mixed reviews I thought about watching Saving Hope because of the main star Erica Durance (Lois Lane-Smallville), but I don't want to buy the DVDs-I was hoping it would show up on a streaming service.

I was looking forward to Big Brother tonight but it is on Mondays this season instead of Sunday. Doh!

I don't get why big brother in Canada and USA have such bad scheduling. They want people to tune in to the feeds right? So why air 3 episodes in 4 days where the first of those 3 airs after the veto ceremony happens in real time.

I've always thought Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday was the best scheduling they've had, but guess none of the networks do for past several years now.

Is Dragon's Den still as popular as it once was? I didn't like the new guys that much except for Croxon who wasn't on that long.

From what I see ratings wise, its peak was around 2011-2014. I don't watch it though. Don't really watch reality shows in general outside of the big 3 CBS ones(and their Canadian versions).

CBC outside of hockey I don't really ever watch.

Yeah the show was at it's peak in the first half of the decade. I think once the dragons who had the most personality all left for various reasons the show took a major hit. I have to have to give Jim Treliving he could've left a long time ago but he's been there for the long haul.

I wonder if Letterkenny could catch on south of the border like Trailer Park Boys. I've really enjoyed it.

Haven't watched the show but from the ads i've seen I think some of the humor of that show would definitely catch on with some folks south of the border. The commercials with the two hockey dudes would definitely resonate with some of the younger demographic.

I noticed O'Hara and Levy of SCTV fame.

Stephen King's "The Mist" is coming to Spike TV this summer. Technically not a Canadian channel but it was filmed right here in Nova Scotia. 5 minutes from my house actually. It's a 10 part series.

Filming gets underway today in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Spike's straight-to-series drama The Mist, based on the Stephen King novella.
