    Light bulbs

Call me an old fart, but I like the old incandescents. Be that as it may I'm needing to get the new bulbs but it seems like you have to break the bank, including on ebay, to get a lot of bulbs for your bathroom. Anyone got a good light bulb site on the order of the way monoprice is the good cables site?

    Re: Light bulbs

This post is a lot more basic than I was expecting it to be, expected to see the words Hue, Samsung SmartThings, Lifx, etc

When we need bulbs we just go to Home Depot or Ace Hardware and don't usually put much thought into it. Though now that we've started down the path of home automation (living room, bedroom and loft can all be controlled w/ voice via Alexa and Hue bulbs) I want to do some more basic things like convert our only fluorescent fixtures to LED.

So your answer is in bold, at least for our household .

Well, yes, I understand that the conventional stores for anything is always a solution. Just wondering if there was a "Monoprice of Light Bulbs" store out there that anyone may know about. Hell, I may have gone to Best Buy to get cables earlier on until someone mentioned Monoprice to me.

P.S. Anyone got a good soup crackers site?

Walmart, Lowe's, home depot have their own brands but still not monoprice level price.

Amazon has some when there are sales, but those can be difficult to match coloring if you aren't going for yellow lighting.

Do you have a state program like MassSave? Here in MA, they will come out once a year and upgrade any lights you have for free. They won't touch the cfl lights, but any old incandescent, they replace with LED lights.
