Re: 2017-2018 TV Season
Ken Levine, who was an integral part of so many of my favorite shows including Cheers, Wings, Frasier, Simpsons, Raymond, etc wrote two awesome blog posts in the last few days that I find to be a perfect description of a major part of what's wrong with comedy now. The first post, the follow up, and believe it or not the comments for both are filled with excellent points. I've been attempting to articulate my criticisms of sitcoms and current comedy, particularly of where we are as a reflection of society and entertainment in general for years now and I think they do a great job.
Ken Levine's daily column about writing, producing and watching TV sitcoms, TV dramas, film, pop culture and life.

Re: 2017-2018 TV Season
Young Sheldon will be good for the few BBT story references like Sheldon's mom getting him tested for being crazy, the uranium in the shed, chicken chasing up a tree and so on, but that's just one season worth of stuff. At least I hope it happens in s1 so it gets a chance to happen, because there's no guarantee of season 2Comment

Re: 2017-2018 TV Season
They fired the wife from Kevin Can Wait and hired Leah Remini full time with a new creative direction for season 2. I didn't think it was the greatest show, the changes could go either way I guess.Last edited by aukevin; 06-04-2017, 09:38 PM.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment
