I like her but after watching several first season episodes on my friend's constant recommendations I couldn't get into it. She was great in Everybody Loves Raymond, and I was disappointed that the Kelsey Grammar-Patricia Heaton star power couldn't bring their series even a second season.

Wow, nine seasons. Quite a success.

That sucks (we love the show), but kinda makes sense. I'm glad they'll have a great final season tying things up. I figured it'd be soon, didn't see them just continuing forever, so a set end time makes more sense overall.

So I think I saw one show mentioned once before but I will talk about all the shows I have been watching lately.

TBS comedies. I don't know when or how this happened, but I have really been liking the comedies on TBS. People of Earth, The Detour, and Those Who Can't.

Does anyone else watch any of these shows, or any TBS comedies? I really do think they are clever and well written with People of Earth being my personal favorite and my friends as well.

Yeah, Search Party starring Arrested Development's Alia Shawkat (Maeby). Season 2 starts just before Thanksgiving.

All the TBS comedies feel exactly the same.

That said, I watched the premiere episodes of Guest Book and it was pretty decent.

I really liked when TBS focused more on the mindless sitcoms though. I enjoyed the hell out of Men At Work and Sullivan & Son. *shrug*

FX's Snowfall got renewed for a second season. I've yet to see it but with five episodes aired I might play catch up.

Get Shorty is getting some mixed reviews but the good ones are very good. Starts tonight on EPIX.

Anyone watching The Sinner with Jessica Biel? Looks interesting. The Canadian premiere is this Monday night, I've dvr'd it.
